So the SEC homer is big mad that the other conferences are following in their footsteps. K lol
ОтветитьYou know what's really embarrassing? All this sucking up to the SEC. There are more than 14 teams in college football you know!
ОтветитьHey Finebaum: the Pac-12 is a proud conference. It wins more championships (all sports) than any other conference in the nation. You should have heard this....especially with those ears.
ОтветитьPaul’s obsession with the SEC is crazy. Georgia has been only team to come close to Bama, and that’s not saying much. Texas football will not succeed under Sark, and all UO can do as of late is lose in the first round of the playoffs.
ОтветитьThis guy is a shill for SEC and ESPN corporate interests plain and simple.
ОтветитьPaul Finbum, voice of the SEC shitting on everybody else? You won’t say?
ОтветитьSEC will be eventually on its own island. Will get pretty boring to watch pretty fast.
ОтветитьYa ok...why is that embarrassing Richard-head.
ОтветитьPaul Findbum doing exactly what he was hired to do.
ОтветитьEmbarrassing? You can thank the SEC. Which will be small by comparison. You think the Big Ten wasn’t going to hit back hard?
ОтветитьGotta talk the company line when ESPN signs your paycheck.
ОтветитьHe’s talking as if the combined ACC/B1G/PAC12 would simply allow it to compete with the SEC.. it’s not about simply achieving competitive parity, it’s about leapfrogging the SEC. An alliance of 41 teams spanning one coast to the other and teams from Washington state to Miami would have a true national presence and allow for unique matchups that would bring in many more eyeballs and provide leverage for media rights renegotiation.
Finebaum appears to be ok with the SEC looking out for it’s own interests but the moment other conferences start looking out for themselves, well that’s apparently crossing the line and embarrassing .. what a tool
Lol….Finebaum cries foul when the SEC is out-maneuvered by the other conferences. Sour grapes Pauley?
ОтветитьBet if they were partnering with the SEC he'd be praising it
ОтветитьI think it’s smart. SEC has a lot of big brand schools for football. This is a great way to try to beat it
ОтветитьDon't get angry with Paul get angry with your commissioners of your conference. Paul is just making fun of the Pac12,ACC & Big 10 for coming up with something that already exist, they can call it what they want, but it already exist.. They were already behind the SEC before Texas and Oklahoma joined the SEC, the other three conferences have been left in the dust by the SEC and they know it. I'm not even going to include the Big12 because it's history. The conferences commissioners feel they have to do something to show the schools and fans that they are earning there salary. Even though it's nothing that's not happening already. Ohio St played Oklahoma, Georgia is playing Clemson this year, LSU vs UCLA, Bama vs Miami. They can combine those 3 conferences together and still can't touch the SEC. This Alliance is nothing but commissioners trying to save there jobs.
ОтветитьSpoken like a loyal employee
ОтветитьShillbaum
ОтветитьStfu Sec conference started this so ask them the question about the big 12
Ответитьshill
ОтветитьThe SEC has a financial agreement with ESPN. ESPN was was the catalyst for Texas and Oklahoma joining the SEC, so now ESPN has to wage the propaganda war against the other conferences. 🤣
Ответитьso.. obviously "the alliance" has thrown a huge wrench into the plans of the SEC and ESPN and now this clown and several others connected to SEC network or ESPN are trying to downplay it. im all for it. boooo hoooo dumbo. :)
ОтветитьLoser
ОтветитьYour precious SEC forced their hand, Paul. Sorry they will have competition now.
ОтветитьAs an employer I would NEVER hire somebody with a "degree" from a SEC school.
ОтветитьPaul Finebaum should not be on ESPN as a college analysis. He is not objective. He should work for SEC Network. His favoritism should not be on ESPN.
ОтветитьComplete SEC hack…..
ОтветитьSo the nba equivalent would be one team forming a super team so another team does it and it’s embarrassing lol why because they didn’t just roll over and concede defeat?
ОтветитьIt's a shame that the SEC will lie cheat and steal to win, just like democrats.
ОтветитьHe is an idiot and ESPN should be investigated for their role in all of this. ESPN is trying to determine the future of the sport. Maybe state's attorney general's should get involved in this and get to the bottom of what is really going on here.
ОтветитьHe's asking why the pac 12, Big10, and ACC left out the big 12 when Oklahoma and Texas left them high and dry lol. Texas is the reason for all of this. 🤡
ОтветитьYou are a hater
ОтветитьI'm just impressed with how clear he still speaks after wolfing down all that SEC man meat for years.
ОтветитьSEC is overrated.
ОтветитьThis old man is a 🤡. Sorry, but more people live in California and the east coast. $$$. It’s economics. Why wouldn’t they align to keep that market to themselves?
ОтветитьThis guy definitely waves the ESPN and SEC Flag hard. He's becoming the CFB villain and sparking Civil War 2.0 who represents the "deep south" 🤣 also, the SEC created this monster. No turning back now. Finebaum is shook. Lol
ОтветитьYep cuz let’s just let the SEC own and control everything
ОтветитьQuit crying 😭
ОтветитьLet the SEC become the new XFL. They can play each other for their championship. Maybe there is hope that this alliance will save college football from being a semi-pro sport run by ESPN. Keep traditions, some rivalries, and all the things that make college football unique. Not a semi-pro league with some university names on the jerseys.
ОтветитьWow !! All these comments about Paul when he did nothing but tell the truth. The new SEC has won 15 national titles by 7 different programs since 1998 when college football decided to start determining their national champion on the field instead of by voting on it. You B1G Ten and PAC Twelve people can't hide in the Rose Bowl anymore, can you? Now you have to play the SEC champion if you want to win a national championship and the results haven't been pretty. The new "Alliance" has won 9 national championships by 5 different programs in that same 23 year period. 15>9 . No wonder you'll are so bitter !!! Your 40 team "Alliance" has only accomplished 60% of what the 16 team SEC has done. Finebaum's correct. You should be embarrassed !!
ОтветитьLike what do you want them to do stand by and let the SEC control all of college football? I wouldn’t blame them if every school in every big conference stopped scheduling SEC schools for OOC games.
ОтветитьWill someone please fire this biased geek? Jesus Christ, he's on the wrong track like always.
ОтветитьSo the SEC can make a power move without being criticized but the other conferences can't? Shouldn't surprise me coming from the voice of the SEC himself
ОтветитьDumb statement. Let’s be real, the SEC has 2-3 COMPETITIVE teams… Bama , LSU , and now Oklahoma. Overrated. Sorry
ОтветитьThis is a smart move. This dude is obviously a SEC homer.
ОтветитьThis is just embarrassing for ESPN honestly.
ОтветитьThe people making the Sooner, Longhorn adoption, care nothing about the pride, history and tradition of the Southeastern Conference.
ОтветитьSec d riding is all paul does. Like football is not played elsewhere.
ОтветитьDoes anyone actually respect this guy?
ОтветитьThe SECs biggest friend is ESPN and all these so called experts on every media outlet beating the war drum for the SEC which caused all these conferences combining. The fact most the major bowl games are played in the SECs back yard. When football season is over the SEC takes a back seat and the ACC takes over at eSECpn. So basically Paul and his cohorts are now making stories off of things they created. The B10 network got its own channel and viewer ship of ESPN plummeted . Why because other conference fans were tired of trying to watch the hour long College Game day final and watching a half hour tribute to Alabama before they got the scores and highlights of the rest of the known world. Another thing i found odd was the targeting of Iowa and Iowa state online betting. Like really? those 2 schools in the same state? Obviously this never happens at Alabama or Georgia or convict U Miami right? You could take a poll with a bajillion people and id levy a paycheck on anyone who wants to take that bet, that the poll would show Iowa and Iowa state under 1% most corrupt schools. So why investigate there? Children's hospital to much for them and the wave? Now all the good players are being paid so the SEC can relax about getting caught doing this since the beginning on time. Now they can focus on the real issues at the NCAA , targeting the other conferences for infractions. Legal ones i might add.
