In our area we had a fellow who "trained" tigers and took them to schools. A local girl was having her senior pictures taken with one tiger and it killed her. Nothing the "trainer" could do.

One thing some peaople don't get is that polar bears are the top land predators, and they have no fear of humans. They have colossal strength, ct-like huge claws, and I can't think of another land predator that could even compete. You don't train polar bears, you stay away, or if they get too nosey, you shoot them with a high-power rifle. They don't fear a person any more than they fear a seal. One guy had a .22 pitiless with multiple shots, hoping the scare bears away. The bear wasn't scared. They guy emptied every round into it, and made it angry. It killed. him. There is an island neasrest the North Pole that has more polar bears than people, and probably due to the lack of contact, they have no fear. One also killed a woman coming there that wouldn't take a high-powered rifle, though the residents told her she needed it. She was killed.Her friend jumped off a clidd to escape, and escapes with some broken bones. The law (I can't remember which Nordick country polices the island), faund it, and killed it instantly with a high powered rifle at maybe 1,000 feet, Twenty rounds of .22s only angered it. It would kill any human. A cop shot it with a high -powere rifle, and it stopped instantly. When these women decided to cap there, the locals kept trying to get them to take a high-powered rifle, and they refused. One is dead, and the the other was saves by going over a cliff, What a choice. I'd take the rifle. Now shot from the rifle, and it collapsed linstantly. Remember: Polar bears have NO fear of humans. They have not had enough exposure to humans to know they can be killed at 1,000 feet with a single shot.
