im not from cali but i remember this guy. he had commercials nationwide to sell car in long beach? im not a snitch so ima act like this pans out😅
ОтветитьWhen I was little I thought they were saying "pussycow"
Ответить🎵🎵🎵 Pussy Cow, Pussy Cow, Pussy Cow! 🎵🎵🎵
ОтветитьEven Call us collect, that would be confusing to some people today, back in the day when using landline & when calling local it didnt cost xtra, now if you called a different city, now it cost xtra & if your calling someone in a different state it was hella expensive, so if you call them collect they will pay for phone charges. What a salesman cal was.
ОтветитьSo Cal LBC Legend!
ОтветитьI always thought it was "Pussy Cow"
ОтветитьYou want to know how to piss an old lady off and get slapped in the face? Ask her, "momma, what's a pussy cow?".
ОтветитьYes can't forget these commercials and this jingle but tell me what's a Pussycow?
ОтветитьI remember watching his commercials in Houston during the late 80's. I now live in Long Beach and his grandson just sold the last Cal Worthington dealership
ОтветитьDamn those cars were affordable in '84!!
ОтветитьThose prices!!! Lawd lol!
ОтветитьCal Worthington and Jack Stephan set the standard for commercials in the early 90s. Core memory unlocked.
ОтветитьWhere the slogan "see ya here" came from for the Blancolirio Channel...
ОтветитьWhat a hero cal was: WWII Air Force veteran: piloted B17’s in the European theater
ОтветитьCal Worthington was clearly the inspiration for the Ted Danson character Hal Jackson in the movie Made In America.
ОтветитьHe was the king of the after-midnight commercials in Los Angeles.
Ответить🎵 Pussy cow, pussy cow,
pussy cow! 🎵
RIP Cal Worthington Ford Dealership
ОтветитьThe man was, is, and always be a legend.
ОтветитьThe dealership is about to be sold to the Shaver Group, as announced by his grandson Nick to ABC7 Eyewitness News. It will be renamed BP Ford in a couple of months and retain all employees.
ОтветитьI grew up watching his commercials as a kid and never got tired of them. This takes me back and I'm full of nostalgia. Thanks for the memories Cal. You seemed like a good man. RIP.
ОтветитьSad to hear his family is closing the last dealership. Remember watching these commercials in the 80's and that awesome jingle. Go see Cal, not pussy cow.

ОтветитьAlways thought as a kid, it said pussy cow, and not go see cal😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьPussy cow, pussy cow, pussy cow!
ОтветитьCould get one that the tiger hasn't scratched up.
ОтветитьAmazing that not many people here new he was decorated war hero bomber pilot that flew over 25 missions.
ОтветитьThis is the real OG! Dude could sell you used socks he took off his feet and you would walk away confident you got a great deal.
ОтветитьCommercials are such a staple of my youth in front of the tube ❤️
ОтветитьI grew up hearing these ads on TV in socal.
ОтветитьWe're forced by law to sell these used cars as used. Otherwise, we'd try to screw you. And, as an added bonus, your new "used" Ford has been trampled by a 300 lb animal! How could you shop anywhere else?!!!
ОтветитьAll the losers that couldn't afford to pay Cal had their cars repoed!!!
ОтветитьIf you a need a better car…pussy cow 🐈 🐄
ОтветитьWho else heard "pussy cow" growing up?
ОтветитьWas that Don Knotts saying “Cal Worthington and his dog, Spot!”
ОтветитьHe helped inspire part of Keaton's Beetlejuice character!
ОтветитьThe worst spanking I ever got as a kid was singing WHAT I THOUGHT I HEARD after the commercial came on. 😂😂
ОтветитьAwesome commercial...
ОтветитьSo, I was just thinking about Cal earlier and this pops up! Freakin strange!
ОтветитьGood old days, miss them .Most of used cars have increased in valuation in forty years, if regularly maintained, and highly sought. Built Ford Tough. A 70's/80's Bronco or pickup with less than a thousand miles on it auctions for nearly $100,000. Even Escorts and Pintos sell for $$$$
ОтветитьI bought a 1964 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport from him.
ОтветитьI was watching the film Used Cars, and it occurred to me that the Marshall Lucky scene was a spoof of a Cal Worthington ad.
Ответитьchildhood memory unlocked
ОтветитьThere’s a certain podcast that brought me here.
ОтветитьThat man was dripping with charisma… RIP Cal!!
ОтветитьEnjoyed Cal Worthington's fun TV commercials when I was a kid, often during professional wrestling.
ОтветитьI lived in Sherman Oaks in the early 80’s this brings back a lot of memories.
ОтветитьLong beach baby
ОтветитьI love this man
