I’m gonna be doing my own plumbing since I can’t afford one. This is a great learning video. I’m gonna practice till I’m I’m an expert before I actually do one on my home.
ОтветитьI did enjoy watching and the drill tip was awesome 😎
Ответитьgreat stuff, partnah
ОтветитьSafety first! Don't EVER light a torch with a lighter! If the lighter was to have a leak it would explode with the force of a stick of dynamite. If people use a lighter fine but don't tell them it's an option. Not smart.
Ответитьwe are chinese air conditioner pipe factory, mainly engaged in PE, rubber, Titan insulation copper tube, threaded tube, copper aluminum tube, as well as air conditioning installation kits, copper accessories, dryers, silencers, distributors, components, copper joints, condensation panels, brackets, etc. Hope to cooperate with you
ОтветитьThanks for making, exactly what I needed
ОтветитьGonna solder a silcock today. I will edit with a victory screech.
ОтветитьCan I use a weed burner instead of a torch
ОтветитьBrilliant video, Well done mate - Thank you! 😀👍
ОтветитьGreat simple instructions. I’m an enthusiast DIYer at best and feel confident of doing this now 👍
ОтветитьAnother useful life skill that I should have learnt about at school. Better late than never
ОтветитьGreat video, answered all my questions in a short amount of time
ОтветитьJust have to say thank you. Very informative-quick to the point no extra bs -video! If only more creators would follow suit!
ОтветитьMAPP GAS CONTAINS ACETYLENE WHICH IS WHY IT BURNS SO MUCH HOTTER
ОтветитьThank you I did it❤
ОтветитьIf you apply heat to the joint from the bottom the heat rises and the distribution of the heat is more even and faster. Supposed to make a better joint, but this looks good and will hold up!
ОтветитьClean and simple.
One thought: The plumber I used to work for said you should always apply solder on the opposite side of where the flame is. That way you know the entire pipe is hot enough to accept the solder and you don’t get any accidental issues (burning out the flux or cool spots)
It’s been years since I’ve done it, but that method always worked for us.
Very professional and well explained video.
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьThank you for this insightful video😊
ОтветитьIm in the process of fixing some solder vertical couplers in a tricky space. love to see a solder repair video that expands on what was talked about here! Hopefully helps the next guy
ОтветитьThis tutorial is great, I probably would have never done a soldering job just from the intimidation factor alone… but after this, I definitely feel that I could do it.
ОтветитьSuccinct video, loved it.
Ответить👍
ОтветитьThank you for the great video! Canada will make a great 51st state.
ОтветитьThis is copper tubing, not pipe. Tubing is measured by the outside diameter. Copper pipe is measured differently and it is usually threaded.
ОтветитьFantastic video man, outstanding job Thank you so much.
ОтветитьBro, no story? No walk around the park? Just boom, facts, goodbye?
I mean I now know how to solder perfectly, which will save me hundreds of dollars...... but what about the emotional experience?
Phenomenal tutorial video! No fluff and straight to the point, which is highly appreciated.
You’ve well earned another subscriber!!
I agree with everyone, this was a really great video and really nailed the steps very clearly.
I had one question if you don’t mind answering. I looked this up cause I have a vertical pipe rather than horizontal. In that case, does it matter where you heat first since there’s no “bottom?”
Just here to say I watched a bunch of your soldering videos and they helped me repair a leak right by my water meter & install a new quarter-turn shutoff valve in just about 2 hours!
Thanks so much!
The one thing I would recommend to anyone else looking to do a repair is to make sure you can really sand or file off the old solder and to dry fit all of your fittings & couplings before you start soldering! Had to break one of my fittings because it was about 30 degrees off of straight - whoops!
Good vid. Ty
ОтветитьLooks straight forward going to give this a go
ОтветитьGreat work, no bs intro, solid!
ОтветитьThanks for the refresher.
ОтветитьYou make it look easy. It's actually hard. I'm hiring a plumber...
ОтветитьThanks. I finally got my shower working!
ОтветитьYou don't know how to solder. First you heat the pipe then move the heat to the fitting.
ОтветитьMan, that helped a lot. I forgot about the flux. Thanks
ОтветитьIt's good, but the music makes your speech harder to hear.
ОтветитьAppreciate the quick to the point presentation - nice work
ОтветитьBest damn "straight to the point" video ever. Thank You..
ОтветитьDude this was ass
ОтветитьCan't thank you enough! This was the solution! Great delivery, to the point! Merci Beaucoup!
ОтветитьWow, straight forward ! Thanks
ОтветитьVery good video.
ОтветитьHeat the pipe first then the fitting.
