Alvin Lee, One of my favorites of all time. Along with Derek Holt on Bass. How sweet.
ОтветитьAlvin was so unique
ОтветитьI was there, working in north Wembley when the manager was talking on the radio about this gig that night, went to Hammersmith but it was sold out, a ticket tout said are you after a ticket... showed me but I thought to good a seat... no chance.. but one of the security said I'd get in with it.... 3rd row back, end of the row, centre row... paid £15
ОтветитьNever seen a tremolo like that on a 335
Ответитьmoja mama go kochała bo on śpiewał na gitrze a teraz zero
ОтветитьToday's "shredders" owe a shit load of thanks to the late, great Alvin Lee. Playing that fast at that age? Obviously no arthritis in his fingers.
ОтветитьThis guy really can play.
Ответить"The man who played faster than his shadow"!! Alvin Lee was so finger fast that he once fingered a groupie backstage before the gig and she exploded!
ОтветитьOne of the most underestimated guitar hero!!
ОтветитьThey were the best
ОтветитьThe neurons in my brain don't even fire that fast.
ОтветитьAlvin I have been listening to a hell lot of guitarist s for the last 50 years and you are one of the best. I wish you were alive today
ОтветитьThere will never be another time like the sixties that produced so many great talents and legends like Alvin Lee Et Al. God Rest His Soul, I was so glad to have been a part of that generation and being an eyewitness to greatness.
ОтветитьHoly shit
Ответитьshould have been 'night of the 335's'
ОтветитьSaw Ten Years After in Philadelphia, Pa in the early '70s. One of the best shows I ever saw
ОтветитьSimply the Best!
ОтветитьSo bad ass
Ответитьreally great player
ОтветитьAlvin Lee and Frank Marino, my favourite
ОтветитьAlvin & Rory RIP the greatest ever.
ОтветитьFantastic!!!
Ответитьcan see where gary moore got his fast playing style from....old alvin of course
Ответитьi loved ten years after
ОтветитьThe Best of the Best Alvin Lee ,Rock , Blues and Jazz great Talent riff and Solo🎸🎸🥁🎹
ОтветитьMan Alvin was so inventive and he’s still underrated. God rest his soul. He seems like the person did everything with a guitar slung around on him; eat, sleep etc Alvin played a lot.
ОтветитьGrande grandissimo è comunque dir poco, peccato che non abbia avuto il successo che merita ma forse non era simpatico ai critici ❤️❤️❤️❤️🎸😍
ОтветитьToca demais esse alvin lee, estive no show dele sábado passado aqui no eldorado em contagem
Foi bom demais
Been a big fan for many decades. Absolute great guitarist. Lyrically a visionary, as in
“Tax the rich, feed the poor, til there are rich no more”. & from Zoom CD “What’s that stuff your dumping at the bottom of the sea?” With too many other examples to list here. RIP Alvin, thanks for all you’ve given to us…!
He was awesome so fast and smooth , all his music is great
ОтветитьWHY NO ROCK HALL OF FAME?????? Neil Diamond???????????????
ОтветитьYeah mon
ОтветитьAlvin said: he couldn't read music. Alvin is music. 👍💪
ОтветитьT o k a i made Alvin a nice copy of his Orville H. Gibson ES-335. " Big Red ". A couple of years ago, Big Red was for $ale at RockStar guitars. All of a $udden it di$appeared off the radar. I'm assuming some collector has it. Very sad $tate of affairs that the family would not have kept that guitar because it was Alvin's Workhorse. Most people think everything is about money. All nonsense and b***** aside, Graham Anthony Barnes was an incredible guitarist. He was a musician's musician. Not a con artist, b***** artist or a f**** clown.
ОтветитьAlvin Lee has always beena top favorite: my semi retired "Rock Jock" Brother DJ turned me on to A Guitar God" Alvin Lee's also.a big influence on my guitar playing.
ОтветитьWoodstock' the best !
ОтветитьYeah they don't know how good they are and than they are gone
ОтветитьBack then it was ten yrs after and mahogany rush wow I miss those days
ОтветитьAlvin Lee and Jonny Winter are two of my favorites FOR SURE!!!!
ОтветитьJust like Rory Gallagher, Johnny Winter and Ronnie Montrose. Amp, Cord and Guitar. Plug it in and let it rip! Of coarse with a solid band to backing them!
Ответить
SUPER TAPPER.
R.I.P LEGEND 🎸🔊 🙏
superb guitarist - my all time favorite
ОтветитьHe is not showing off, he's enjoying the energy he sucks out of the instrument. Love it.
ОтветитьOnly person I have a picture of on a t shirt. Captain Speedhands
ОтветитьMr. Graham Alvin Barnes Simply R.i.p🎶🎼🎶🎸🎤🙏
Simply I Was There... Simply Night Magic🎶 🎸😎👊
Trini's ES-335 never sounded like that. Wow.
