Want to give my comment
The Bible says
First John 316
For God so loved the world 🌎🌍 that he gave his only begotten son whosoever believe in him should not perish
But have ever lasting life ❣️ though his blood
Jesus said except the man be born again he can not enter the kingdom of heaven
I’m glad I had the opportunity to see him live before he left us.
ОтветитьThe fuckin’ MAN!
ОтветитьQuelle voix, quelle énergie, quel swing, quels talents et quel SHOW MAN👏🏽🔥 Woulo Bravo pour Otis Redding et pour ses musiciens ❤

ОтветитьI know where to begin this comment as my eyes are filling with tears. I'll be 81 years old next month. I'm a Caucasian former Rhythm and Blues Trumpet Player. I was 23 years old when Mr. Otis sang at this Concert. It brings back so very many great times when I was young listening to Mr. Otis Redding! Mr. Wilson Pickett defined Soul as, "SOUL AIN'T NOTHIN' BUT A FEELIN'!" Mr. Otis Redding, PERSONIFIES MR. WILSON PICKETTS DEFINITION FROM HIS HEAD TO HIS TOE. THAT'S MY BELIEF, WHICH I'M ENTITLED TO BELIEVE. MY DEAR GOD WHAT A LOSS TO US , HIS FANS AND HIS FAMILY. I'VE BEEN LOVING YOU ITS BEEN SO LONG. THAT'S A SOUL SONG TO THE BONE. GOTTA' GO! REQUIESCAT IN PACE! MR. OTIS REDDING, UNPARALLELED, NO EQUAL! RIGHT ON! RIGHT ON! THIS COMMENT WASN'T EASY FOR ME BUT I FEEL, FROM MY SOUL , I HAD TOO! Y'ALL HAVE THE BEST EVER CHRISTMAS! MICHAEL! ALWAYS SEEK JUSTICE NOT INJUSTICE!!

ОтветитьI don’t think Donald Duck Dunn & Steve Cropper are on the stage in the beginning.
ОтветитьI was at that concert. When Otis died all the clubs in Saint Germain only played his songs all night.

This Man Mr. Otis Redding is definitely the Man. I'm a former R & B Trumpet player. No one past, present or future can touch this Unparalleled Soul Singer. Mr. Wilson Pickett said this about Soul and I quote, " Soul ain't nothin' but a feelin'! Mr. Otis Redding is SOUL personified! We lost a man that I'm sure is singing for Almighty God in Heaven. I cried when I heard he died in a plane crash! I got sunshine also Mr. Redding when I hear you sing. One of Our Almighty God's magnificent creation. This comment is being written by an 80 year old WHITE Man who loved Mr. Otis Redding. A white man, me, who considered Mr. Otis Redding as my Brother because Almighty God created both of us in His image. Both of us! Dig that, if you will! Right On! Right On! Requiescat In Pace, that's Latin for Rest in Peace! As Always, God Bless You and Yours Take Care and Stay Safe ya' hear! I remain, with warmest regards, Most Sincerely, MICHAEL 🙏☮️ Former United States Army Military Police Officer as well as one bad ass horn player. Playing Music is a love of mine. Rhythm and Blues Soul Music I played in the year of Our Lord 1961 - 62 while stationed in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico in the United States Army. The name of the group I played horn was Joe Turner and the Ambassadors. Joe, an Afro American played the stand up Bass and was the leader of our group. He would tune me before we played. I sustained a D, if I remember correctly. And he kept instructed me pull your slide out a little more, a little more a little more and he said that's. He tuned my horn and I was good to go for 4 sets! Great memories! Thank you Joe, my Soul for honoring me to play in your band. I never ever will forget you, my Soul Brother, one bad ass Bass player, Mr. Joe Turner!! I'm outta here!; ❤🎉
ОтветитьR&B Soul Music was rooted in this man's Soul at birth he was a gift from God almighty! Rip!
