Personally, I don't think when Clark told Lana his secret during Season 5 should be up there. Because, Jor-El reversed time....to bring Lana back to life. So, technically Lana doesn't know that it really happened. Haha 🙂

It was at this moment I realized, what may possibly avoid the obliteration of the world, is that white people need to stop lying. There was no lies told this entire destiny of plunging in earth into annihilation could’ve been avoided.

What I always liked about Lex in "Smallville" is that he was projecting his own feelings on Clark from the beginning.

He was friends with Clark when that last spark of humanity was inside his heart. But even then he couldn't help but be suspicious just like he couldn't help but be cruel and evil himself.

And in their last encounter he did the same. He was accusing Clark of plotting humanity's demise because he was really the one plotting humanity's demise and was trying to shift the blame.

All those people assuming that Lex would be good if Clark trusted him are delusional. It wouldn't change anything. Lex would still find some fucked up reason to hate Clark, because he was just unable to truly trust anyone. Best proof of that is Lex wondering how come Clark didn't tell him his deepest secret.

Well, that's because you've spied on Clark all this time, Lex. You claimed to be Clark's friend and yet you didn't just trust that there's a good reason Clark doesn't tell you everything. All other friends of Clark have seen the same weird things and yet they never tried to prowl the secret from Clark by force. How much money have you spent to do that even before you got any reason to even suspect there's any secret to be found to begin with?

If someone claims to be your friend - and yet he refuses to wait patiently until you're ready to tell him your secret, he was never your friend to begin with. Nobody has the right to DEMAND to be part of your secret. Your secrets are your own to share at the time YOU yourself deem right.

Absurd Lois isn't in this.

Allison had some of the best performances of the whole show and her sad expressions were the best "period" and Chloe's White Queen arc was the best overhall, in my opinion, so I will honestly never understand how could she fall like she did...

Its funny how Clark was the worst Character & Tom was the worst actor on this show. Outside of him & his goofy ass familly this show is pretty good.

Michael Rosenbaum's interpretation of Lex is honestly mind boggling for a "Small Tv-Show" at the time. They also really had time to introduce gradually the shift into the big villain that he become, season after season.

Obviously the show had its flaws but still a masterpiece imo. Truly hads smth to the character of Superman !

The main reason Lex didn't join with Clark. Because he wouldn't get the Benefits he "thinks" are his. He says it himself. The only reason he wants to protect the human race is because his name would be on it. Lex is a spoiled BITCH. Plain and Simple.

Jonathan the Best father of Clark Kent

The Jonathan in this show was the perfect way to portray a father worried about his superpowered son without making him overly protective and callous like Snyder's Man of Steel did. This Jonathan was able to understand that his son had to find his own way in the world, and allowed Clark to do what he was destined for instead of constantly holding him back.

It would have been WAY cooler to have Lex actually controlling Clark and have the first assignment be to destroy the Fortress. Then Clark gets free at the start of the next season! How did Clark and Lex escape the fortress with no powers etc...?

Clark should have told Lana from the beginning. Pete was a whiny idiot about it when he kept poking into Clarks secret before knowing it. Now he's pissed even though Clark told him he wouldn't want to.

I loved Smallville, still do; it holds a special place! If they were to ever reboot the series I'm not sure the original cast could ever be out portrayed, but a CGI series with the original cast voicing their respected characters would be...Amazing! A lot more can be done on CGI then in real time!

Wasn't the Chloe scene a "do over" as she had been previously introduces to Clarks' powers when Alicia had shown them to her with the teleporting out of the car and seeing Clark stop it and have it suspended off the ground before lowering it?

One of the best parts of this whole series was John Schneider’s amazing husband & father portrayals anywhere. Topped off with the great father & son relationship between him & Clark

Everytime someone discovers the truth, they somehow lose their memory.

I'm in my 60's and I have Superman comic books from the 1960s; I still don't understand why Superman didn't just fry Lex with his heat vision! It's be in self-defense of the whole world. Also, Batman could NEVER have beaten Superman!
