ОтветитьI'm so sad I haven't been able to make foundation yoga course for 2 weeks (missed today as well). Had the misfortune of menstruating and also getting a stomach bug. This week we were meant to receive all of the asanas we went through so we can now practice at home. I'm gutted. Thank you for this video because the asanas look like what we were doing. I'm still very sad, though :( Can't believe I care so much. Right now the class is all I have.

Then I began classes with her and Marla Apt, Koren, Scott, Nancy and Maryam. Iyengar yoga truly saved my life. I’m so grateful for this and everyone especially B.K.S. Iyengar 🙏🏼

ОтветитьThank you! This is a nice morning class or short session. A little lengthening and rotation of the spine, and calming use of the block for some lower back/legs/torso lengthening. Plus more! Love it!

I am a Hatha yoga I structure. I am enjoying your Iyengar classes. I appreciate the instruction and the pace. Perhaps you could elaborate on the qualities of Shavanas and why this pose is so important. Why should one should not skip it. Why should one turn to the right side or left side before coming out of the pose. Shavasana is not understood.

ОтветитьI’m just starting to practice yoga. I have a connective tissue syndrome and arthritis in my neck/back. My friend suggested Iyengar yoga. Today was my first day. I enjoyed it. Thank you for the clear instructions. Now to see if I react.

ОтветитьLast time I tried the pose with the block under my lower back, may tailbone was hurting for days. Any suggestions as to how to adjust so I can do that pose? Maybe foam blocks are softer than cork…or did I position it incorrectly?
