Creamy Garlic Chicken Recipe - Easy Baked Chicken in Creamy Garlic Sauce

I had my friend cook this as part of a dinner party. He added mushrooms and carrots to the sauce and it was served on mashed potatoes. I asked him for the recipe and he sent me the link to this video. It was to DIE for! Can't wait to try this out for myself.

This is my second time doing this dish. Both time was a hit. Only thing i did this time different is put the cast iron in the smoker with wood a chacoal and it went from a 10 to a 10 5 lol

This is a fantastic sauce. Elevate it a little with fresh mushrooms, but before all that, deglaze the onion/garlic mix with a little white wine! Amazing sauce Claudia!!

For anyone looking to avoid salt but not kill the flavor of the recipe, I just wanted to share this experience of mine! I made this recipe tonight for dinner and didn’t have any salt and then forgot the step to add chicken bouillon but with that said it STILL came out AMAZING and my family loved it. It reminded us actually of going out to eat and ordering dinner so I can absolutely say it is a great recipe. My 2 kids are 11 months and 4 years old and even they said it was really good. (Obviously the baby can’t talk or eat the garlic straight up but he ate all the little pieces happily)

When my chicken is done baking i put it on a plate to serve the take the liquid from the pan and pour it into a pyrex measuring cup and hit it with my immersion blender. The kids don't even know they are eating onions and they say it's the best gravy every!

I have not stopped thinking about this dish since I made it the first time 2 months ago! I made mine with mashed potatoes and peas and YUM! My little family of 3 devoured it! The only complaint I heard was the fresh herbs being a bit "twiggy" in there. Maybe I will use my food processor for those 🤔. Anyway, guys - don't sleep on this one.

Just finished making this. Very good recipe. I only had three chicken thighs bone in. I used 4 bone less skinless thighs. To make sure we had dinner for two days. I added tri color bell peppers and mushrooms. I also added tuscan seasoning and cayenne. I put cayene in everything. I like a little heat. I also added a little lemon juice. I didnt have fresh basil. I made mashed potatoes and asparagus. This will be added to my rotation. They key to this recipe is cooking to taste. I added additional seasonings to my liking. This recipe is fabulous. Thank you.

I made the chicken as close to your recipe as possible except I had to use garden cream cheese and buttermilk because thats what I had and OMGOSH IT WAS SO GOOD . I served it with Sauteed red chards and tomatoes.
