Padre Pio, also known as Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, O.F.M. Cap., was a friar, priest, stigmatist, and Mystic.

" Always remain in the presence of God in the ways you have been and will be taught. Keep yourself from anxiety and disquiet, because nothing will prevent you more than this things from walking in the path of perfection. Gently place your heart in the wounds of Our Lord....Have great confidence in His mercy and goodness that He will never abandon you, but do not neglect embracing his cross because of that confidence.
After your love for Our Lord, I recommend that you love the church, his spouse and our tender mother....Thank God a hundred times for being a daughter/son of the church.... Have compassion for all the church's pastors and preachers, as well as for the guardians of the souls; see, my daughter/son, how they are spread across the dace of the earth.... Pray to God for them, that as they work on their own salvation, they may fruitfully procure the salvation of souls...."
