I don't know. People talk about nukes being the worst thing that has ever been invented, but it seems to help countries avoid direct conflict. Never has there been a country with nukes waging war with another country with nukes. I bet if Ukraine had nukes, Putin would have thought twice before invading. And the US and USSR probably would have already fought if neither side had nukes. There have been wars involving countries with nukes, but they only have fought other countries without nukes, like Vietnam, Iraq, ect.

I bet if every single country in the world had nukes, people wouldn't even think about invading each other. Terrorists may want to grab some bombs, but no government leader is who wants to keep their power will risk losing it all in one fell swoop by nuking another country, seeing how they would also be obliterated.
