I’d like to refinish two night old night stands. They are ‘orange’. Once i sand, can i put a darker stain on them?
ОтветитьIt’s beautiful, you performed a miracle. ❤
ОтветитьAngie, Amazing just amazing. Teak is one of my favorite woods.
ОтветитьSo in addition to the bunny breaks, you're also going to have to start including kitty clips... your vids are going to be getting longer :P
ОтветитьReally beautiful 😍
ОтветитьI just love your channel. You are awesome! Your giggle is so cute!
ОтветитьI can't get over how beautiful YOU made that that table 😍❤️😍❤️!!
ОтветитьWonderful! Love your work. The oil/wax choices here are very interesting! As a life-long dumpster diver/garbage picker, I am the mom of several adopted MCM teak pieces. It would never have dawned on me to use waxes. I use teak oil, out of a concern for conservative practice. Another traditional finish for teak is *soap*, which does not warm me. That said, my pieces need to be re-oiled just about every year. They certainly don't look as lustrous as your finishes. Wonder if you would share your thoughts on how you decided on your finishes. Again, thank you, and great work!!!
Ответитьdid you sand again after using the wood filler?
ОтветитьYou have inspired me in such a way that I'm ready to refinish my moms Bedroom that I inherited. It's about 50 years old and dark mediterranean. I so love to make it lighter. Wish me luck
ОтветитьBeautiful!
ОтветитьYou're amazing.
Ответитьwow. gorgeous!!
ОтветитьThose warm tones are so beautiful, love the variations! Since I'm new to your channel, I haven't seen Willow before; do you have both her and Nacho still? I have 2 tabby cats like Willow😀
ОтветитьI love teak. Thank you for looking after that piece so very well.
ОтветитьGorgeous table!
ОтветитьAngie, I have an idea, how about making coasters with your logo on them? I'll bet your clients would absolutely love them, and that way you could reinforce your "use coasters" line. Or even sell, them separately! You could have some with your logo and also the bunny rescue on the underside as well! Just an idea that went through my mind as I watched your beautiful restoration of this piece. Sending you hugs and admiration for all that you do!
Ответить20 dollars is cheap. In my country, I can get only scrap of Teak wood for 20 dollars. Sometimes people who do not know worth of what they possess sell them cheap.
ОтветитьNot a fan of orange of teak. I'm looking for some tricks to finish my solid teak couch frame so it isn't orange but still keep the beautiful wood grain.
ОтветитьA labor of love! So pretty!
ОтветитьI'm super new to furniture flipping, and I have leaned SO much! I wish I could have you come live with me for a couple months lol Thank you for all you do!!
ОтветитьWhat a beauty! Wow! You did a great job of saving this one.
Ответить😳😍😍😍💚
ОтветитьWow! Great results. You're a magician! 🎩🙌❤
ОтветитьMmm that’s such a beautiful warm color. Great video!
ОтветитьLove your simple straight forward approach. Your work is great and speaks for itself!
ОтветитьBeautiful!
ОтветитьI recently was gifted a midcentury Parker Furniture ( a famous Australian brand) sideboard. Anyhow, it is in a sad state. You have given me, I hope, a guide on how to attack this project. Wish me luck
ОтветитьBravo! Danish mid-century modern is my favorite style of furniture, it makes me so happy that you are saving them. Thank you!
ОтветитьI could stare at that grain all day. ❤
ОтветитьAmazing work! You are inspired me to restoration teak furniture :)
ОтветитьWow, what a save!🙌🙌 The table looked like trash when you started. The finished look is just amazing.❤❤❤
ОтветитьThe more I watch, the more I love your work, sensibilities, and and design choices. Thank you for sharing your gifts with furniture restoration!
ОтветитьWow, what an amazing result from an unpromising looking start. You can almost hear the wood breathing a sigh of relief when you're applying the Odie's Oil. Fabulous rescue job Angie!
ОтветитьSomething for everyone, your love and respect for old pieces is admirable thank you for what you do for our earth and heritage.
ОтветитьAnother favorite...you do great work. Your attention to detail is remarkable.
ОтветитьThis piece is beautiful ❤
ОтветитьWow!
ОтветитьI truly enjoy watching your videos! I have been a furniture painter, wall treatment creator, and color consultant on and off for about 30 years. About 10 years ago, I took a break so that I could obtain my BSN. I'm now starting to get back into painting/staining/restoring furniture again. I'm amazed at how many new products are out there and I feel like a complete and total pup sometimes! You're inspirational, I love watching your videos (I've repeatedly watched many!) and hope to pick up some new tips and tricks from you! Thanks so much!
ОтветитьIt would make a great library table. My fantasy home library would be something like Beauty and the Beast, but I would definitely furnish it with Danish Modern!
ОтветитьYou are a wonderful teacher❤
ОтветитьGreat save❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьHard to believe that is the same wreck you started with. Kudos to saving it and making an attractive table anyone would love to have.
ОтветитьYou do such beautiful work and I really look forward to your videos. Maybe you should include a set of coasters that you make with each wood table or dresser that you refinish to remind people to use coasters😊
ОтветитьUn. Believable. !!!
ОтветитьWow! 🤩
ОтветитьWhat a difference 🥳🥳🥳
ОтветитьAnother beautiful piece...congratulations! Been meaning to say that I really enjoy the music you choose ❤
ОтветитьOh my gosh! This s lovely. Well done, you!
