Hi Shelley I love the face and body and as I am ghostly pale wear it in shade C1. The shades of this one worry me being so dark and multiple reviews have complained about the shade’s being totally off. I will go to the counter and try to get colour matched on this one, plus a sample to make sure it doesn’t oxidise further. I’m hoping it is a slightly higher coverage version of the F&B tbh. My bottle of F&B is almost finished (around five sixths done) and it’s a Winter favourite which isn’t far off here in Scotland. We’re having 12 inches of snow right now in the mountains fell yesterday so the skiers are happy. Best wishes x

I also love MAC Complexion products Shelley! Their Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation is the first foundation i ever bought from them and its still one of my faves! But i think i will pick this one up next time its on sale! Thanks for the review as always !

Question for you. Do you think you will be trying Polite Society More Than a Pretty Face Skin-Caring Foundation? From reviews I’ve watched and comments I’ve read on Ulta, it sounds pretty good. Sounds like they run a bit warm so I think you and I might need to consider a cool shade. The mascara is also popular, and on their site they have a holiday eye palette with a hilarious name! The colors look beautiful!

I went to the Mac store prior to this video.I usually wear NC 30 or NC25. They matched me with NC 20. So the colors are darker than your usual shade. I have been loving it so far. I have been searching for videos on this foundation. Thank you for reviewing it .❤❤️❤️

It's almost bright orange, and about 4 shades too dark! To say it's "inconsistent" is such a polite understatement! lol.

Not sure what shade you wear in the Nars Light Reflecting, (I wear Mont Blanc - which is too dark in their other foundations, but perfect in this one!), but I tried a sample of the NW10 and I think it's a perfect fit! I am trying to decide between this one and the Hourglass Ambient Light foundation. I think this one may be winning.

Thank you so much for continuing to swatch other foundations during your reviews it is so helpful. This foundation is beautiful but the shades are so off. I usually use NW20 and with this foundation I had to go to NW10 and it’s maybe a tad too light but the next up I still felt was too dark but the foundation is beautiful.

The face and body radiance is also darker in tone.... not the same as the original face and body.....

I am so close to giving it up finding my shade. Looks like NW15 is going to be too dark again. The ones I have tried NC12, NC14.5 and NC16 have all been too dark. And I am not even the palest of pales

I did not like it. It’s quite matte on my super dry skin and looks make-upy close up. Mac Face & Body is my go to, that one looks really natural and skin like.

I'm the same skin tone as you. I got a sample of this in NW13 and it's also quite dark compared to other MAC foundations in the same colour. If I was purchasing the full size, I would have to go even lighter than NW13.

I had cool bone , double wear and I wear NW 10 studio radiance. Maybe that shade would also be the same for you. love your make up btw. This make-up feels so soft ansd light on my skin.

This foundation runs darker than the studio fix. I’m a nc15 in studio fix and a nc10 in studio radiance. It’s lovely, even on my oily skin.

No when we have mature skin, its ok to take à shade darker. That help show less texture (katie moyer and michelle spieler said that and i try it and i agree) vs lighter one.. you look.good

Shelly, I went to the store and got matched. Went all the way down to NW10. Three steps lighter!!! Tried again and discovered neutral tones. N12 seems perfect.

Don’t stress too much about the foundation being darker. They said this particular formula tends to run dark and everyone needs to go get color matched when they get it. I think Mac is still pretty reliable as far as NW15 goes.

I totally agree with you on “my skin has never met a MAC foundation it didn’t like” and they are all highly rated on my list of foundations. I don’t know what it is, but they are truly some of the best foundations I ever used

Omg on the Mac website I used the shade finder and it matched me with shade NW 15 for the radiance foundation and foundation I used was the Glossier #2 which is a much lighter shade. Needless to say I went into Ulta and I liked the NW 10 best. It’s a gorgeous foundation though. I thought the NW 10 would be slightly too dark but because it’s so thin it’s a perfect match. The other 10’s looked too pasty. But yeah Mac needs to fix their shade finder too 😂 because NW 15 would’ve scared the heck out me on my skin tone 🤣!!!
