They are not exterminated by ccp, due to ccp's population policy Uyghur population is growing and they have three children on average. Han Chinese population is shrinking, many are having one child per family or even dinks, so Muslim brothers you don't have to support their independence and worry about them because soon China will be replaced by Muslim population and change from a communist country to a Muslim country. There would be a Chinsstan way much bigger than East Turkestan.

There has been some awful generalizations. Otherwise very good video! Majority of Uyghur people are totally fine and haven’t experienced the violent things mentioned. It’s only the separatists and extremists that seem to be going through this. The picture shown of the evicted Uyghur people are all guilty. So yes, the separatists are heavily oppressed. I don’t condone human rights violation so I do condemn brutal actions against convicts. But the VAST majority of Uyghurs are totally fine and really happy with their living standards and the development that’s happened the past century. Many Uyghurs were also subject of the murder of the separatists terror attacks. Uyghur people can in fact practice their religion, just not the symbols that is part of a specific type is Islam which is Wahhabism. So it’s too broad to say that any Islam religion practice is prohibited. It’s not, it’s very specific ones. Ones that’s been clearly in the context of China (not the West, it’s diff there) is a strong indicator of terrorism or radicalization. Uyghur have all of their cultures preserved and even supported. Wahhabism is imported from foreign forces and haven’t been part of Uyghur culture.

this is not fully correct..... during Han and other dynasties portion of that territory was in Chinese hands, the hands of Han Chinese. Nope, it is not at all a matter of ethnicity why it has become this way, it is the fault by many Uyghyrs who become part of a dangerous intolerant racist terror ideology Islam. The goal of Islam is to exterminate all others and all other cultures like Pakistan did -- it is not a coincidence that Islamist Uyghrs propose an Islamist flag very similar to the flag of Pakistan. Thus, most Uyghyrs became gangsters who want to force the region into a tyrannic Islamic state, not ending there but also try to conquer whole China by war and terror. Previously they were part of much peaceful ideologies and would they have remained that way they would have been treated as well as any Buddhists in China today.

Other proofs that it is not about ethnicity: Oppression within Uyghyrs is severe: Most Uyghyrs were forced to become Muslims or die and those who want to leave Islam are killed. Non-islamic Uyghyrs who did not become Islamist or left Islam live peacefully and happily among other ppl in China yet with fear of being killed by islamic Uyghyrs, and the efforts by the Chinese to treat islamic ppl to leave their terror ideology in order to live as all others peacefully being respected as good citizens. The focus by the Chinese appears to be to capture Islamists whom oppress non-muslim Uyghyrs and those who chose to leave Islam. In China among others there are those of Dao, Confucius, Buddhists and Christians and homosexuals living in peace but Islam cannot be part of that because the main goal of Islam is to destroy all others as well as to kill all homosexuals.

Uyghyrs use to follow the religion of Xiongnu worshiping sky and a combination of Buddhism, Christianity and Zoroastrianism. Why did they adopt a terror ideology is the question that should be answered instead, not buying into the Islamic world false narrative that it is because of ethnicity.

And most of the peoples are focused on Ukraine and Palestine... what about nations like Uyghurs?

The confusing history of the "Uyghurs".
1.Uyghurs are a Turkic people from Mongolia who migrated to western china in the 8th century ad after being pushed out by the Kirghiz(another turkic group).
2.They Uyghurs who were strongly east asian looking mixed with the Indo-European natives of the region and formed a new mixed race people with Uyghur Turkic replacing the Indo-European languages.
3.The Uyghurs loss a series of wars and left western china to Gansu region as the Ganzu Uyghur kingdom and Kocho kingdom. Where they live today as the Yugur people(uyghur people).
4.The Karluk Turks of the karakhanid khanate moved in and replaced the Uyghurs, and during Communist period the Chinese renamed the Karluks as "Uyghurs" even though the Yugurs are the actual Uyghurs. The Chinese did the same with the Pamiri people(East Iranian group native to China) renaming them as Chinese Tajiks even though they are not Tajiks.
