I’m from Maine. And love driving RWD in the snow. Against the advise of everyone I know I’m getting a MT RWD GR86. It was that or a FWD BMW X1. If you know how to drive them in the snow they are actually easier to control and you learn how to drive better in the snow. This video is great!

ОтветитьI think i missed it, but im assuming the vredestein are a yes?
ОтветитьCan someone tell me what it be like to drive a rwd car with open diff? Or should try to get a limited slip diff?
Ответитьyou definitely need to hit the snow banks. this is how swedes&finns fo it
ОтветитьTed, you're a Takumi Fujiwara based on your early days of driving sideways lol
ОтветитьHave you heard of mirrors
ОтветитьShit, i love that Interior color!! Whats that? 😍

Don’t break if you don’t have ABS!!!
Ответитьme
Ответитьi love your video, appreciate you addressing the nuances of driving in snow and finding that balance of wanting to have fun abut also be mindful of those around you even if it means you have to hold off and wait for another road to practice sliding.
ОтветитьI’m doing research about buying e92 like your car but kind seem find it is there specific year model or something?
ОтветитьAmazing BMW woohoo ❤
ОтветитьI have a volvo wagon with the turbo 5 cylinder 2.5. awd too, its amazing how intuitive it is when you practice first. awd only sides a few feet in the dry, so poerslides in rain and moderate drifting, full drifting in snow. some mods from ipd and new cvs axles, limited slip diff (rear) & viscous center diff (middle). Safe drifting everybody!
Ответитьcan't wait for the snow this year in York Maine, can't wait to rip down my local back roads saw in own of your video that you might live there two.
ОтветитьOn the topic of LL Bean, I bought a pair of slippers from them back in 2014. Best slippers I have ever had! Still wear them today (currently wearing them as I type this)! lol
ОтветитьDo you need any minimum hp rwd to snow drift?
ОтветитьI got my first car last year '09 Subaru Impreza and i got overconfident in my ability to drift and slid straight into a curb on my wheels face and barely didn't bend it. This year I'll be better and I'm so excited to drive again in the snow
ОтветитьThis is so cool!
ОтветитьDrifting snow is prolly cheaper
ОтветитьI live in Seattle. This would not work if hills.
ОтветитьLL I figured.
ОтветитьGot my first RWD car. It's a blast. Can't wait for some more snow!
ОтветитьI love that you are aware of what you say! I enjoy your quality videos! Much love from Romania!
ОтветитьCan you drift whit Winter tyres
ОтветитьI really want a bmw but I want to be able to swing… what model would be appropriate ?
Ответитьsomething I want to mention with my personal experience after watching this video, I did not practice enough and still managed to want to somehow drift in the snow. because of this my Bright Idea made it where I decided to drift into a neighborhood Lane that exits into the city. well because it was also at an incline, I ended up spending out and fully breaking not realizing what happens when you fully break. I spun out fast into an angle at a curve in the incline hill. I smacked the side of my car into a curb and if I only had accelerated really fast or sped up instead of breaking and letting my car slide downhill, I would like we have saved myself a $130 alignment cost LOL
Ответитьthis is such a dope video fr
ОтветитьIs it the snowy conditions or is the e92 M3 expecially well insulated?
ОтветитьHavat nem láttam évek óta, de jó lenne pörgetni az M316i-t 😂😂😂
ОтветитьProbably the most interesting POV video I've seen, he's not just driving in silence he's and interesting dude giving people tips and tricks and telling stories, props to you bro!
Ответитьthat was some mindful and meditational snow drifting
ОтветитьDude shut up and just drift you panzie stop chitta chitting and just slide gime gueeze at your snow skills
ОтветитьWhen i started to learn drive at 13 years old. My dad bought pretty old m5 dont remember the model, but it was heavily snowing and i just started drifting and now i just love drifting and i like to do zigzags through papas trucks. I have not hit them yet lol
ОтветитьRecently moved to Alberta and one of the weirdest facts I learned right away is, they don't require snow tires here...The place where it's often -40 and snow plows take days to start clearing the roads, even if it keeps snowing. Yet where I'm from, Vancouver Island, you rarely see the snow actually on the roads because they're on that, and also because they're reasonable they require snow tires, even with much warmer weather and much less snow.
ОтветитьUkraina will defeat russian fascism
ОтветитьYou mentioned the electronic e brakes, yea u cant use those when ur in gear, so unless ur fast enough to shift neutral, pull it, get sideways, disengage it and shift back into gear then u aint driftin fwd
Ответитьoooohhh a volov 740 best winter car ever love from sweden
ОтветитьFrom the beginning I was convinced I was listening to 'Jedward' (without the Irish accents) (Google them)
ОтветитьLOL, your two cars are my exact fun car and daily lol. I have a blue wagon!
ОтветитьI dirfted a FWD automatic last winter and it was really fun too. A volvo V70
ОтветитьDo you put anything underneath your car to manage the salt damage ?
Ответитьbro drive in the very far north of minnesota this is necessary to drive where i live this is all fun for me lmao im sure it is for you too but i turn too hard on purpose haha unless i do see someone else but if its just me for sure im burning that corner lmao
ОтветитьMy dad taught me to drive cars when I was 9 years old. Too bad the cars we had werent RWD. Never have tried an RWD on snow. But I do like to mess around with cars in the winter. FWD and handbrake turns are hella fun. I assume RWD in snow is only funnier. Edit: Just last week I saw some Mercedes driver who tried to drift on asphalt, it was slippery and icy but it wasnt enough. In the middle of the drift his tyres started gripping and the car launched straight out from the road into a tree. Some expencive drifting.
ОтветитьHayatta bundan keyifli çok az şey vardır
ОтветитьGotta have awd for snow
ОтветитьWe call those beeanboots as well haha because they literally look llike beans
