Its 2023 and here i am watching this as a brit living in spain. Watching secretariat winning the Belmont gave me goosebumps . Ive only gotten them once before watching a horse , and that was Frankel . Probably the best 2 horses in history .

Saw him as a little boy from a military hospital bed win the Belmont. People around me were talking shit about him before the race saying no way he'll win the Triple Crown. My little boy mind yelled out "You wait and see. He'll destroy them." They laughed. I laughed at the end!!

I remember Secratariet so well as I watched him win the triple crown. It was my first time watching a horse race. I love horses, have mixed feelings about racing them. But he was quite a horse, gifted with that big heart.
