ОтветитьMy guess is tha big blin was supposed to be a boss for one of the scrapped dungeons. He mentioned stove pipe island, which features artwork for its inhabitants looking like one of the goron elders from twilight princess. It's hinted that the mines from TP is one of the scrapped dungeons reworked into the game. The boss being Fyrus, who is chained up and locked away, just like big blin looks in his artwork. Is it possible that big blin was supposed to be the boss from stove pipe island's dungeon?

Any person with arachnophobia would have left the game right there. Me, who have slight arachnophobia, could only complete that battle by being VERY FAR AWAY from the tv and only taking small looks at the screen from time to time again.
It's one for the reasons why I don't play Twilight Princess again after I finished it.

ОтветитьI could have sworn there was an invisible Stalfos fights in OoT. But when I went back to the locations... it was invisible floors. The Forest and Shadow temples came to mind.

I actually really like the invisible OoT enemies! It might be sort of confusing at first, but they could probably add some sort of hint like they do in the Shadow Temple so you know to use the Lens. I would’ve loved more uses for the Lens of Truth like that!

ОтветитьI wonder if the Armogohma chase concept was inspired by the Shelob sequence in Return of the King, since the game did draw quite a bit of inspiration from Lord of the Rings
ОтветитьI would have liked to see the other armagoma fight because the one we have is underwhelming a bit. They could have something like she busts through the wall of the temple of time boss room and she chases you through a circular tunnel as you fight her with the big guys in the arena smashing her through the tunnel.

ОтветитьI remember being pretty disappointed that the boss fight in TP did not turn out the way it was shown in the trailer. That would’ve been so fun to have to run away from something like that.
Also, I really really hope that ton of enemies from previous games will come back into Tears of the Kingdom, like FloorMasters, and Deku Babas and Skulltulas, Like Likes and Wolfos… so pretty much almost every kind of enemy from ocarina of time. 🤣
The ArmaGohma chase reminds me of the original idea for the Gonarch in Half-Life- brief glimpses of it inside the Black Mesa facility, ending in a chase/boss fight.
ОтветитьI like to think armorgohma would have lived around the temple of time in present day and you’d have to go to the temple of time to get rid of it like the entire dungeon would have a past and present version one in total ruin and one not
ОтветитьI think that ArmoGhoma concept is actually another example of something scrapped adapted into a part of Spirit Tracks. On your way to meet with the Locomo of the Snow Realm, you have to go through a tunnel, forced to look behind you, where you are chased by a spider-like creature with a single eye. Its another example of the original idea being drastically shrunken down, but that allows the final product to kind of combine the vhase concept with the final produvt walking on walls and ceilings. The main difference is the Spirit Tracks version not being a boss, really, but just an obstacle in your way fairly early on.

The Twilight Princess Moblins would have been neat to see! It's the only 3D Zelda game they're absent in, same for the Armorgoma design, possibly needed the bow to stun them.

Someone said (it may have been you in another video) that the idea of that temple may have been used for TP's Gordon mines temple. The chains on its leg remind me of the boss from that

ОтветитьThe Mega-Blin that was considered for "Wind Waker" has a couple of interesting parallels with oni from Japanese folklore. (To some extent, this is true for Moblins and Bokoblins too, but the more human face, single horn, and specific decision to give him a kanabo as a weapon all increase the similarity. I suspect that his placement and behavior within the game might have reflected that archetype as well.)
ОтветитьI want the trailer version of Armaghoma - I wanted that fight back when I first saw the trailer and was disappointed when I never found it in game. Though TP is still one of my favorite LOZ games, having that fight would have been awesome.
