90% of the taxis will scam you and charge you with ridiculous prices, many pickpockets in public, especially public transportation. Scammers everywhere. My luggage was broken into at the airport. Hungarians and even tourists are illegally arrested and held by the police. If you drive a car they will find reasons to stop and extort you for money. Read travel warnings of your government. All the money you spend will go to OLIGARCHS....
ОтветитьBudapest is dirty, lots of homeless people, the crime rate is horrible, the police is corrupt and won't help tourists. You will be scammed almost everywhere. Female and male prostitution is rampant, the poverty extreme. Sales tax 27%, service tax 12 %, plus special fantasy taxes for tourists. Young people leave Hungary in masses, population loss is 1% per year. It is a Disneyland where the population are the empoverished actors. It is horrible once you start talking with normal people.
ОтветитьDon't go to Budapest. Hungary is not deemed a democracy by the EU, there is no rule of law. It is racist, dark skinned people will be harassed, as well as LGBT, and human rights activists. It is the North Korea of Europe, the most corrupt country of Europe, the people are robbed blind by its OLIGARCHS.
ОтветитьGood content!
ОтветитьWow. As someone who’s been to Budapest so many times (as a child) it was great to be reminded of some of the great places to visit. Thanks also for the food and cafe ideas. Perfect
Ответить1 Széchenyi fürdő is magnificent. Do not miss it even if you're on a budget and think their prices are steep. They are worth every penny
2 But you can definitely save money on those Danube cruises. Simply use one of the boats that are part of public service transport and are free if you have public transport card - which you want to buy anyway cos Budapest has a wonderful public transport system. Don't waste money on cabs either
3 I wouldn't leave Margitsziget for a "bonus day" - it's a must see too if you don't visit in Winter or late Autumn when the weather can be dreary in Hungary
4 If you are strapped for time don't waste it on Aquincum or Szentendre. They are OK but nothing special an will likely take up a better part of a day
5 Budapest card will pay for itself if you really love museums. Otherwise skip it. For public transport you can always buy a day or multi-day pass much cheaper. If you visit on a public holiday, museums will be free. I recommend visiting on a public holiday anyways because the city throws various activates that will make your stay even more fun and memorable. From Advent to Szentistván Day
Is there any interesting or significant reason why all tourist videos about Budapest start with explaining how it came to be because two (or three) independent cities merged into one? I mean doesn't sound very unusual or particularly interesting. Is there anything special about this merger that escapes me?
ОтветитьBeautiful video ❤
ОтветитьI always wanted go to Budapest! I went last june for 5 days and was a boring trip. I didn't like anything and a very expensive city. Sometimes I watch these videos to maybe see new things, Nothing yet. Unfortunately, I didn't like Budapest.
ОтветитьTechnically speaking, District of Columbia is there right? In the North. Trump and Biden must be present. Rescue all civilians in that northern area. Withdraw and offer the victims a path to Canada.
ОтветитьThank you very much for this nice video ! From France .
ОтветитьMuy buen lugar para ir a conocer
ОтветитьDinero 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьBeautiful image😊❤
ОтветитьThank you for such a comprehensive guide!
ОтветитьYour video is superb. There is not one single spot you mentioned that I would say wasn't worth visiting. Oh, and I live here (in Budapest).
ОтветитьGreat video..got a lot of information..Im traveling to Budapest this month on the 28th
ОтветитьI think this does confirm to me that there is an uncertainty of what should be the priority to visit. For example: parliament building: looks the same to me as the parliament building of my own country and nothing special inside. Modern Bronze statues to past events: two-a-penny all over Europe and mean nothing to visitors who want to visit genuine historical places and not tacky attractions to tourists (Hungary, you are not alone: the whole of Europe thinks that modern bronze statues will attract tourists - why?). Why no mention of Aquincim or even the Cogwheel or Childrens' railway?
ОтветитьThe world's first electric underground (metro) was built in Budapest. Europe's largest synagogue and perhaps the world's most beautiful parliament are located here.
ОтветитьExceptional and very informative ,helped a lot! Nice editing and footage too!
ОтветитьMuy bueno
Ответить😁👌
ОтветитьFantastic video and great tips. Thank you!
ОтветитьNice travel
ОтветитьA great video 🎥 ❤ 🙏! Thank you! Your voice is very professional and so nice to listen to! 😊 Sorry, but there is only one thing I would like to mention, it is the background music, it is far too loud and too hectic, it interferes with the valuable information you are conveying. But, I look forward to your next vlog and you have a subscriber in me 💐 I’m off to Budapest in 3 weeks for a whole 9 days. It’ll be my second visit to this majestic city. Blessings to you 👋

ОтветитьWhen I visit Budapest, none of these places are top of my list! While all lovely, speaking as a guy, there’s one amazingly beautiful thing about Hungary. You know what I mean. It was my first introduction to country and why it is top of my European cities to visit!
The Hungaroring 🏎️ ❤
