IELTS Speaking Part 2 Topic Types

There are hundreds of different topics for part 2 of the IELTS Speaking Exam but most of those topics fit into 4 categories. Watch the video to learn what the 4 topic types are and to see examples of each type.

When you do part 2 speaking practice, try to use similar structures when talking about similar topic types. If you know how to describe a person, then it should be easy to also describe a neighbor, friend or colleague.
