Dr.Boom, mad genius was dominating the meta to a point they had to hard nerf it, it was the golden age of value/attrition, i know Zilliax was good, but not as much

Patches is DOGSHIT, the WORST card ever printed! Now am not saying this cos am salty, I have played against patches and one a good number of times, reason I am saying its dog shit is cos of its weak ass effect and stats, a cheated out 1 cost 1/1 which you can only cheat out if you where playing a pirate deck or had like 1 or 2 pirates in your deck JUST so you can pull off the combo, but what happens when you get patches in your hand BEFOR you paly that one pirate to cheat him out of your deck? At that point is just a useless 1 cost 1/1 that dos NOTHING its ENTIRE SHTICK is to be cheated out on turn 1 or 2, but if you pull off the combo on say turn 5 or 6, its jsut gona get bodied by a stronger minion or spell or secrets or something. Now if patches wasn't a legendary and 3was jsut a a named normal card with stats that are maybe like a 2/3 or 3/3 or something then I would give it a pass as it would at LEAST have some board presence that it could leverage on turn 1 or 2. But as Patches stands, even befor they removed his charge keyword, he is absolutely dogshit trash tear and should have NEVER see soo much paly as it did

you started the video saying that you wanted to do cards that were insane on their own, not part of crazy combos, and then broke that rule all video.

cube? cube is not insane on its own, its awful on its own. it's only good with the synergies big lock gave it. the entire shaman tempo package over 2 expacs instead of reno jackson? cmon.

Honestly there’s no way tunnel trogg is as good of a card as Reno is. Reno saw play in so many different decks over the time and is unlike tunnel trogg still relevant today so this just clearly goes to Reno for me personally.

I think shredder is actually better than dr. boom. yea there are many memes about dr 7 and how boom was the beginning of the end for power creep in hearthstone, but shredder was absolutely insane to print. it was the best 4 drop card in the entire game that was non-legendary and saw play all the way until its rotation out. of course now hearthstone cards are absolutely bonkers, but shredder for the time it existed in caused the most salt, was included in pretty much any deck you could think of, and would provide the best twitch clips from 1/1 spawns or doomsayers. i'd even be as bold to say that shredder would have seen play all the way up until dragons of descent if it wasn't rotated out, but nowadays a 4 mana 4/3 summon a 2 drop death rattle just doesn't cut it which... yea lmao hearthstone is absurd

Kobold and Catacombs' strongest card was definitely Corridor Creeper. It really shook up the entire meta and needed to be nerfed so hard with a reduction of 3 attack, and it was still playable after that.

Despite patches I'd think small-time buccaneer is a solid contender for mean streets as well. The second it got nerfed to a 3/1 most pirate decks took a hard hit. Being able to kill a coined out doomsayer with STB + fiery war axe/ dagger+backstab was insane, even though it didn't happen tremendously often it really was too much power for the time. At 3/2 STB was simply way too much to handle for pretty much any deck.

Love your content, but I have to say I'm INCREDIBLY disappointed that you didn't have Undertaker as the number one for Naxx. Undertaker WAS the Naxx meta before it was nerfed, and for a video that helps people relive some old nostalgia, I think undertaker would've helped people remember the fact that pretty much every HS streamer had a dozen videos on "Destroy Undertaker Hunter with this new deck".

Undertaker Hunter WAS hearthstone before undertaker got nerfed. 70% or more of your opponents in those days would be hunter, and it was almost always a loss.

I'm also surprised you didn't bring it up because it made Sludge Belcher ubiquitous in almost every deck as well. I'd say that sludge belcher, because of undertaker, was just as tech'd into decks as loatheb was. And having such a strong effect on EVERYBODIES tech, to the point where everyone was running a sticky taunt, shows more prevalence in my opinion.

I always mention undertaker in discussions like these because I desperately want people to remember just how terrorizing that damn card was. People cry about shudderwock, but it had a negative win rate at its height. Undertaker turn 1 meant concede turn 1, and the entire hearthstone community was either playing it or doing their best mad science to destroy it. As Hearthstone's first expansion, and for me personally as my first card game, Undertaker single handedly showed me what a powerful meta defining card was and what it could do, and I'll never forget how absolutely despised and important that card was.

Grandad is here, played from beta. Very good top afm, but I gotta say, that best classic card was green gnome 2/1 for 1 with 2 damage death rattle; the Classic Facehunt was based on that kind temped cards. Ice cube can be “destroyed” by that mf.
Nothing to add for your list, brilliant!
