My wife is the same age and also looks very youthful side by side to our two daughters. It’s absolutely diet related. We eat meat but as my parents preached moderation moderation moderation! My mother was not a fan of the vegetarian or vegan diets as she believed it was too difficult to make up through other means certain nutrients that meat gave you, but eating it 7 days a week 3x a day as some do (bacon or sausage for breakfast, burger for lunch, steak for dinner). My mother is turning 96 this year and puts we her children, her grandchildren and great grandchildren to shame. She is undefeated in scrabble and other board games and we don’t take it easy, we’re trying to dethrone her for gods sake. However as of this writing she is so pissed off because unbeknownst to us she was rearranging her bedroom, yes moving furniture by herself, and strained her hip flexor and is banned from any strenuous activity until it heals. Inactivity will do her in before anything else.
