Not sure about the padlocks…. Sort of over the top now.
Beautiful video.
Great Vid.... so informative. I am heading to Bakewell next week for a short break
ОтветитьAs a bakewell person, and I know I speak for over 90% of bakewell people, WE hate the padlocks on the bridge. It's damaging the bridge and the banks of the river. People put the locks on then throw the keys into the river thus poisoning the fish. PLEASE PEOPLE STOP PUTTING LOCKS ON THE BRIDGE. Thank you
ОтветитьBloomers near the austrian sausage importer is the orginal Bakewell Pudding Shop. The best in town a must visit!
ОтветитьHappy memories of a lovely place
ОтветитьMore places in Derbyshire if you can , thanks
ОтветитьI love visiting Bakewell, have you been to Tideswell, in Derbyshire
ОтветитьLove the whole video. What camera do you use?
ОтветитьI would love a Bakewell tart.
ОтветитьOne of my favourite places. Not been since before lockdown! Must pay visit soon.
ОтветитьYou are doing great shoot of Lovely Market and city of England we love 💕
ОтветитьWe are going next wk cant wait. First time
ОтветитьBakewell is Great 👍
Will visit some day for sure and will try the Pudding 🍮
THE GEESE WONT HARM YOU UNLESS THEY HAVE GOSLINGS
ОтветитьGlorious--am going straight to Graze for a tart whenever we get there.
ОтветитьThe pad lock bridge. Reminded me of a stop, here in America. Out west, desert. Not sure which state. But a trail has a stop and at the stop, people leave kettles.
ОтветитьFrankly, I think it’s very average. Far too touristy for my liking . Much better to get out of the town and go on the lovely walks
ОтветитьHave you been to Belper? Lovely place in Derbyshire
ОтветитьWatch out for the bull in the field.
I was going where recommended.
few cows ,and a bull. The bull gave
Me a terrible look, started coming towards me! Thankgod I got out
Field, before it got me!
Great video I never been to bakewell it likes lovely there ,looking forward to more videos thank you.
ОтветитьBakewell looks very beautiful.....loved the music too.....another on the list😆
ОтветитьLast time I was in Bakewell there were like 6 padlocks on that bridge, I only live 20 mins away. I used to love the farmers markets sadly all gone now.
ОтветитьI’m hoping for a vacation the Peak District. I want to visit Bakewell, the big cavern and Chatsworth.
I really appreciate you pointing out/reccos and naming some of the good places to eat, like Graze and the popular fish and chips place.
I have two questions:
1) when did you film this? I noticed that the streets weren’t too crowded.
2) what is “market day?” What does it entail? Perhaps I should plan my trip to coincide with market day.
A very enjoyable video to watch of Bakewell I went to secondary school there / think the Bakewell pudding was originally made at the Rutland Arms by a chef who got the ingredients mixed up by mistake and it never got changed please could any one confirm that thankyou.
ОтветитьThanks for another great video .I pass through bakewell on my way to chatsworth every Monday .bakewell is a very relaxing town to visit especially the wonderful gardens that you featured in the video cannot wait for another one of your videos another interesting place is just south of bakewell that is Belper with the old cotton mill of the English sewing cotton company.thanks again for your videos
ОтветитьI would send that card , it be funny when family and friends see it 😂
ОтветитьI like this town look like great place to live 💖
ОтветитьIt's a market town, not a village
ОтветитьIf this is Bakewell, then there is nothing about the town I don't like. Hubby would enjoy the bakewell tarts & I would enjoy the tarts that look like Portuguese tarts. Enough pretty flowers to brighten one's day as the weather warms up. Fish & chip shop & pub, a stream to enjoy. Bliss.
ОтветитьIt’s beautiful, loved this video, thanks Neil x
ОтветитьLike the look of that pudding looked custarde I like custard.
ОтветитьLoved the tour, we have visited many times, only last week infact. Market day (Mondays) is particularly good. Had the pudding once, not my favourite, the tart I prefer. Coffee shop & breakfast, the Lime Lounge is our favourite.👍
ОтветитьSuch a beautiful town to go to . I love Matlock too . Another lovely town . Enjoyed video .
ОтветитьA great video of BAKEWELL | Full village tour of Bakewell in the Peak District, Derbyshire, England!.💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋

ОтветитьLoved padlock bridge at the beginning and then the rest of the walk was wonderful and relaxing. Hope you enjoyed your tea and cake at Graze 🤣 so now you’re refreshed keep on walking 👍🚶🏻❤️
ОтветитьI like a Tart 🤪🤪🤪
ОтветитьReally nice place... and except for Holland & Barrett/Cancer research, not a high street shop in sight, good to see small businesses thriving.
ОтветитьWhat a cracking video Neil just love bakewell especially the walk along the river then having a bakewell pudding must get back there soon
ОтветитьWe visit Buxton and Bakewell most Bank Holidays we were there last weekend, and had a great day out.
Ответитьwhat a Lovely walk i will have to book that day trip to bakewell thank you for sharing

ОтветитьBakewell is indeed a beautiful place and your video demonstrates that perfectly. Ive requested this before and Im still hoping you could visit but I would really like to see a walking of video of Wantage in Oxfordshire and/or any of the very picturesque villages that surround it. Thankyou!
ОтветитьFrom what I know, the Bakewell tart has a different name here.
Ответитьyet again a great video . thanks for showing it
ОтветитьHow was it the I visited Bakewell 3 or 4 times and never knew about the padlock bridge? Lovely picturesque town, with amazing shops to discover that unique gift in! Thanks :)
ОтветитьLets Hope they engineered the bridge to hold all the weight of them padlocks 🙄😧😀
