Hello, my name is Ricardo, I am a student at the University of Magallanes Chile, and I would like to know if you can help me in my research on renewable energy in 38-foot sailboats, for example, how many batteries do you use, what type of batteries, your experiences, what is your energy consumption each How much do you change the batteries, what equipment do you use every day, all the information will be very useful for my research, thank you

I am reading a lot about solar charging; it is so cool; uses a lot of simple math and time of day and angle of sun etc. very interesting subject.

A cheaper and better solution would have been just get another 75/15 controller and split port/starboard panels to separate controllers. Then if you get any shading one one side you will have better output.

We are following behind you in your path all the way from Pensacola around FL, now up to Beaufort, NC continuing north to haul out because it is hot down the coast this far. So your series is really interesting and topical. Planning Bahamas in Dec.

Smart upgrade but keep the 75-15 as a backup!
