I'm not a big fan of Harbor Freight but have to say, for occasional use like around the house/farm, you can't go wrong with Titanium or Vulcan welders. The only thing I don't lie about them is where they are made.
ОтветитьI'm not sure if you realize what kind of hero you are, Sir. Thank you.
ОтветитьThanks Joe - Very Helpful indeed!
ОтветитьI would love to see a video comparing mig welders, i think a lot of folks would benefit from knowing which beginner mig is the best option
ОтветитьThe Titanium welder must be the one they use on Garage54. 107% success!
Great review as always. And the Lincoln being thrown in there shows that if the machine and operator can make a good arc, the color of paint on the machine doesn't matter.
And that's coming from a guy who always buys blue when it comes to welders.
I have a lot of experience with hands on welding of all types of welding, And I want to say good testing on welding. And A Big! Big thank you Joe
ОтветитьThank you, Joe, and thank you, Todd. The only disappointing thing I learned was Lincoln is assembled out of the USA. For that price it should be made by union PhDs in SoCal or Manhattan.
ОтветитьExcellent video! Thank you! A mig welder video would be great. Would love to see how my Vulcan 215 compares to a Lincoln, Miller, etc.
ОтветитьJoe, thank you for stepping up and providing your expert POV, also delivered in a factual, precise, and no BS manner. Todd thank you for being honest and not ashamed to call in the big guns when you know you do not have the expertise to provide us with the most honest and accurate information possible!! Other than, for example, a shop rag or toothpicks and 'Q' tips, if it is in my shop, rest assured, I have scoured your videos, Todd, for an evaluation of what my next purchase should be. If you have not evaluated it,
it's a flip of a coin as to what I should buy.
Hello Joe.
ОтветитьCan u try one of those Everlast welders, They seem pretty good for price. I want to try the Cyclone 262 , has good reviews 🤷♂️
ОтветитьJoe Joe Joe!!!
ОтветитьVery informative video and thanks to Joe for doing the excellent welding. Hope MIG is yours and Joe's next video.
ОтветитьI'd rather pay triple the price just to NOT have anything from China.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this! So many people should benefit from making a sound investment in good welding equipment. Like any tool, money spent is money earned. Personally I have an AMICO-160 brand from Amazon years ago. Worked great on 220v50a. It would even burn a 3/32 on 115v30a. In fact it ran quite well for just over 120$ and could almost fit in my lunch box. I burned up a couple of over torqued tiracs(mosfetts) and diodes, by trying to scratch start TIG some stainless on 115v. Pushing too far. It has been sitting on the back burner "fix-it shelf" for years now. Just keep putting off ordering parts. I prefer to run the Ranger 8 tig runner. Even though it costs me Dino farts. It welds so good. To further blah blah blah, you could do a couple of different series on the different welding machine available. Like a part 2 of inverters like you said multi-process. Possibly engine driven units? You could rent the really big Vantage500 or the new big blue 50. Just to show what 500amps can do to solid steel with only a 1/4" carbon Gouging rod.
ОтветитьCan someone tell me why I was Cheering for the Hone like it was some race?
ОтветитьThank you for the great work!
Ответитьgreat review used one small welder in the $100 range a friend had. It was total junk glad to see there are ones out there that actually work!
ОтветитьThanks Joe! Great technical review of the welder's performance.
ОтветитьThe same amps at double the voltage is double the work being done.
ОтветитьYou should use a shunt to measure current. Clamp on isn’t the most reliable
ОтветитьI really appreciate his test: kudos to Joe's input
ОтветитьThank you so much for your guidance and intelligence in helping me in making my purchases of a welder as well as so many other items from the past. God bless and be safe
ОтветитьThanx Joe. and Thank you for all your content. I enjoy watching your stuff
ОтветитьPlease help Joe
ОтветитьInterested
ОтветитьThis video earned the subscription. I've been coming here before but now you're my goto guy!
ОтветитьYes.....Thank You Joe !
Without you, none of this would have been possible !
Please help on the next project !
If you haven't noticed, this guy needs all the help he can get !
😂🤣😂
Thanks JOE!!
Ответитьcan u please talk slower ?
ОтветитьlIKE TO SEE MORE WLDER VIDEO TESTS
ОтветитьThank you Joe! Yes, please compare HFT's multi-welder to your new Lincoln. Thank you for your consideration...
ОтветитьThank you Joe for your expertise. Hope to see you again.
ОтветитьThanks Joe
ОтветитьLooks like the analogue scale on the Titanium is about 7% off, but the current control seems almost as accurate as the Lincoln?
ОтветитьThank you Joe ❤
ОтветитьThanks Joe!
ОтветитьHonestly, I would love to see the best 110v mig flux core welder. I know a bunch of folks that just need small garage tasks done but do not have access to 220. And unfortunately, there are A LOT of bad 110's out there.
ОтветитьThanks joe best video learn a lot keep the good knowledge going blessing
ОтветитьChina, China, China, China. The second most hated word on the USA
ОтветитьAs always extremely thorough testing, you are brilliant.
ОтветитьThanks Joe! And thanks Project Farm!
ОтветитьThank you Joe.
ОтветитьThank you Joe and project farm very informative welder information. It would be great if you could do a MIG wilder comparison test. I bought Chicago brand from Harbor freight years ago and in my opinion it did not performed well. Recently, I purchased a Forney Easy Weld 140 FC-i Flux-Core Welder and so fur so good.
ОтветитьI know this vids a little old, but I’d love you see y’all use these same machines for reverse polarity scratch start tig. Would be interested in the multi process showdown as well.
ОтветитьI don't know Joe but my shop is near harrisonville. Prof welding for 40 yrs I'm a big Miller fan. The origional hobarts were also great. Lincoln has some great stuff also. My oldest is a 1945 general electric with a Hercules 4 cylinder engine. Fun piece of history. Curious how you know somebody in harrisonville.
ОтветитьTitanium does just fine. It can do everything you want it to do at a vary low price. Yes even mig welding If you set it up.
ОтветитьI would like to see a video on cheap MIG welder comparisons. I feel like that is a common one people who do small hobby builds or repairs would gravitate toward since MIG is pretty popular.
Ответить+1 for a mix machine or a pure mig one.
Also another video to test the gasless wires please!
