How to Operate Successfully with an Open Ego Center

Thank you sincerely Richard, I'm a 1/3 with an open ego and I resonate with all that you mentioned. I recently left my 9-5 back in March and am working on starting my own business based on my innate creativity, it's been satisfactory so far :)

Those with this center defined will never understand what an undefined feels. Their reality is different from ours. They trump us yes. We get turned into slaves over and over. My ex used to fixate on me working hard, how I focused on the pound - he is a defined will centre and a VERY powerful Manifesting Generator yes - but I had been conditioned to do that as when I don’t I have NOTHING.

My skills are not valued. My knowledge is not needed - I get no invitations as a Projector or Astrologer even. I study as I have NOTHING left in my life. I have no job. I’m running out of my savings and living is so very painful. I hate being a Projector with all this useless knowledge no one needs. People call me lazy and criticise me or take my ideas and advice for free and I’m left with NOTHING!

All my life I’ve been trying to prove my worth to to other to no avail. I give up. I have no sacral power either. Barely have energy to get through the days. I only have two defined centres.

Maybe in a few years people will get it but I won’t be around to see that.

My son and I have defined egos and there is an air of “we know what we want and we know we can get it”…if we love it that is! My husband and daughter have open wills and my husband in particular used to give in way too easily IMO. However I have been gradually teaching my daughter how to use her Projector strategy and authority and I have see her grow stronger boundaries and clarity in decision making. I am slowly nudging my generator husband to use his sacral power and not take on so much at work. He’s exhausted and there is only so much energy I can restore him with.

The only channel I have is the channel of struggle. 7 centers undefined with an open ego. RAX of unexpected 4. I’m experiencing more
Clearly how my design earth 27.4 of caring shows up in community with elders. It comes fairly easy to me but I’m still struggling to make decisions on how to live in this material world with only the channel of struggle.

Ready to take on each day as i was designed, seeing what I respond to. Often now I Catch my not self conditioning before heading down another's path. What a GRAND EXPERIMENT.

Wow, another eye opening and much appreciated video, Richard! I room with someone who's a Manifestor with an undefined ego. As a Generator with a defined ego, I've never felt more worthless than when around this person as they work in a high paying corporate job and waste no opportunity in reminding me of it by calling me "a jobless loser" whenever I piss them off by not allowing them to treat me like their slave. My argurment is always money isn't everything! Ofcourse I'm not a jobless loser, I'm just an astrologer doing what they love, but without much pay, unfortunately lol

There has been a lot of exhaustion and sickness, because I have tried to squeeze myself into the square space you speak of. I recognize myself, in not feeling worth getting a value back for what I do. So maybe to see and appreciate one of my to channels 18 - 58 in my self (my 18.2 is in North Node). I have all the black magic you talked about a few weeks ago, and my 48.3 is in my unconscious North Node. Maybe something for my future? Hope so. 😊

I have that open ego/heart and I live with a closed/defined ego/heart manifestor and my father has a closed/defined ego/heart. How much of an influence are there energies on me regarding this definition specifically? Can you give some more specifics to this exactly bc feeling worthy like unworthy was unconsciously running for me in the background for so long until recently when I had that shift like you did with your English teacher.

Then I have 18.1 THREE times in my chart and am curious if I creating negative self talk towards myself? I ask this since it is a 18.1 line. I have worked so much to see the good in others that I wonder if the 1 part is directed to me.

I have 11-56 curiosity, 3-60 mutation, 27-50 preservation & 30-41 Recognition; RAC Laws 2.

I'm a bikini bodybuilder (perhaps pro soon) and hypnotist (white magic storytelling through hope).

It would be a dream to ask you many more questions one to one bc your YT content has helped me see my strengths like the white and black magic lines and I wonder what more I could learn from you!

I'd love to learn about definitions especially wide split definitions. For me I wonder if it takes me more time or particular way to move through unconscious emotions better bc I am a wide split. Like would eft be a helpful resource for me as a wide split? What are your thoughts? Then relationship interactions between single and split etc…

Absolutely love all your content and Human Design. I study human design before I sleep most nights as a 1/3 bc simply bc I love discovering why people do and behave a certain way and human design gives me much more understanding with deeper compassion for others no matter what. Ha 🎉😂

Fascinating insights, Richard, myself having the defined Ego and boy, I know how powerful that can be. When I worked for a while going door-to-door, booking appointments for free govt sponsored cavity wall & loft insulation, I'd often do very well. Lots of bookings but by the next day, the surveyor I worked for, told me he couldn't understand why all these people were phoning to cancel. I tried to explain that it was an HD thing and that it was only when they were in their own aura that they realised they'd made the wrong decision. It should have been a system of phoning them back the next day so they had a chance to mull it over but my boss wanted to fill his diary on the spot so to speak.

I have a defined will and it definitely doesn't mean an easy time.
I think the things that are valued, are probably the issue, as you mention.

Excellent comments and explanation about this open center! It is one of two, which I must recognize where my not-self can come through. Over the years, before learning of HD, I had to determine my value, especially in my profession, to receive proper compensation for my work. I learned that 'my work is not for everyone', as I said many times to people. I'm very good at my work/craft, and there's a price to pay to have it!

As a Projector, I struggled to work for others during my professional career. I hated authority, and those who were above me or managed me. I respected them, but I wanted to be left alone, to do it my way. So, during the last two plus decades, I remain self-employed. It has its pros and cons, but it fits my profile much better!

Interesting that you mention the 58-18 channel... I happen to have it; and yeah, passing "judgement" is my thing! I'll have read up on that channel and understand the value which it carries, for me in my life.

Iam a 1/3 defined ego that felt mostly unworthy my whole life, although i could tell i never deserve the job and salary i got for the job i did, i never felt i fit in and also rebel against authority or micromanagement, which led me in many different job after another until i started to be self employed and earn much better money. (After my saturn return.)

Now my dilemma is dealing with open egos that dont keep their promises, which make me feel annoyed sometimes. Any advice for defined ego in your next video would be awesome 😊

I cannot agree more with you but I have an open Ego Center and my Chiron is in gate 51 (both) so as it has returned I find myself less and less suitable for any engagement into any corporative work but it pays my bills. Out of my experience someone like me, 6/2 Generator, Left Angle Cross of Prevention (10/15 I 18/17) is not a favourite emplyee in any corporation, here where I live, regardless the Generator's force, strenght and endurance 🙂 I had my own business but had to close it because my programm was so good that it has been taken by the local government organisations with much bigger infrastructure. Well, that is a proof of my worth but that kind of proof is not what one needs 🙃

A long-retired techie, I was an apprentice draftsman on the drawing board when a girl from the front office walked into the department and informed all of us that President Kennedy had been shot.
I was pretty much just treading water until my late thirties when circumstances required my relocating geographically and working under my first real mentor. He was a Korean war veteran who would jokingly say "There's only two kinds of people in the world, kickers and kickees. The poor little kickee doesn't need a kicker, but the kicker has got to have a kickee". He loved my work and I happily spent over two years working with him as my supervisor, learning more than I had in my first twenty years.
I then left my inclination toward restlessness kick in and made myself available as a sub-contractor in engineering departments in various industries, but primarily aircraft and aerospace around the US for the remaining twenty-plus years of my work. I developed a reputation for reliability and contributed to some really interesting projects such as the first Hubble Space Telescope Service Mission, avionics required on the Airbus A-380, and numerous other projects.
I loved my freedom, and upon completion of a contract, I exercised that freedom. I worked for the time off.
Confidence? confidence is slippery, once gained, it seems we have to keep the momentum going. Accolades? I loved an occasional atta boy.
We open-heart center types can create fulfilling, enjoyable, interesting lives for ourselves. I was happiest when I just let the spirit move me.

Hi @Richard Beaumont . I'm a little confused. My girl has an undefined, completely white ego, but she does not have low self-esteem at all. In addition, do not these undefined centers represent wisdom? doesn't it apply to the ego? maybe a lesson already learned? Ego doesn't mirror someone else, that is, it feels clear and sure if it meets someone, if he/she will keep his word or if he /she will do what he says, like a radar?

It is so helpful to hear the % of how common undefined/defined centers are! Somehow it makes me calmer knowing that 65% of people “feel” the way I do too (much like with an open head).

I also love the message of looking what we do have that is reliable in us! There is so much focus in society on what we lack, what we should be better at and what we should change about ourselves - it’s truly refreshing to view oneself based on what we already have access to within ourselves 🙏

Thank you for that message. I am an emotional manifestor with a completely open ego center, the channel of the alpha, the channel of openness en channel 41-30. I have always been triggered by hierachical and competitive corporate world and had huge issues with self esteem. At the same time a tremendous Hunger for power and making a lot of money. I feel a bit lost and tired of that game with that contradicting business life. What would you recommend me?

Message to self, look to connect with others who have the skills and gifts that I do not possess and together we can all prosper.

This one hits especially close to home. I was deeply involved in religious life for a long time and spent years toiling away at a megachurch, volunteering all my time and energy away (with no return or recognition) because I thought what I was doing was making a difference and I wanted to prove to others (and to my idea of God at the time) how devoted I was to the cause. Eventually, that all crashed down on itself because, as we know, no human can really live like that sustainably. When my devotion to religious life imploded, that was the event that drove me onto the roof (4/6 profile) and that was almost 15 years ago. I don't find it a coincidence that I've found Human Design just as I'm getting ready to enter my chiron return in a few years.

I have a completely open ego (no hanging gates either). I’m a reflector 4/6. I did many competitions (I’m a musician) and I almost won them all. I competed with the most powerful ego people and yet I was able to succeed. Having a completely open center gives you complete wisdom about the will power of the others so you can use it for your own profit. Although I won many competitions and prizes, that didn’t help me with my self esteem, at all. I still have to resist that nasty voice in my head.

And to all who do work in a big company or have a boss above them… it’s OK. It should not define your worth. Everybody IS replaceable. If you are to quit or die tomorrow - the company and the whole world will still function, believe it or not. 😁 Other people would be able to do your job and replace you. BUT you possess a unique SET of qualities that brings special value to any company, group, or single person you are around! With my diploma with honors and Masters in chemistry and education, and experience of being a lab lead scientist in my native country… currently I work as a paraeducator for special needs preschoolers but I never feel “less than”. I invested time and energy into my own children (“at the expense” of my career). But at work, I know, I am valued for the way I care, the way I bring new ideas to the table, greet people in the morning, talk to people about their issues, joke and make everybody laugh, kids cling to me and love me. 💕 I enjoy it. It’s amazing… You have great value no matter where you are. Believe in yourself now!

A great deal of my anxiety around academics and enetring the workforce has been elevated through awareness. Thankfully, as a young person, a lot of my habits and way of operating ring as correct!
