Gigabyte M32U Monitor Review - 4k @ 144Hz and HDMI 2.1!

I do not see an optical audio connection. What monitor do you recommend in this category with that feature?

is it a good monitor for PS5 given that it has limited hdmi bandwidth?

Hi would like to ask is it worth to upgrade from 2k monitor to 4k? will it different alot? Currently i am using lg32gq850 and now try to upgrade either gigabyte m32u or dell g3223q , i am building my new pc with i9 13900kf with gpu 4080 so i think 2k is a waste but want to ask is it different much to 4k? and if yes which model do u recommend if both model same price in my country or any other good budget 4k model? But M32U is just 24 gbps as ps5 supports upto 48gbps.

I am trying to choose between M32U, M32UC and M28U. Mostly, I would like to try a curved monitor, but I didn't see many videos about that monitor. In my country the M28U is 500 euros, the M32UC is 640 euros and the M32U is around 700 euros. What do you say?
I mostly play games with story: RDR 2, GTA V, The Last of Us etc.
And I often play PUBG.
For FPS games, I think a smaller screen is better because you don't have to move your eyes so much. But for story games, I think the 32 inch would be better.
My GPU is 4070ti. In future when the GPU will get old, I will need to put the resolution at 2K.
I don't think that 4K on 28 inch is so good, but also 2K on 32 inch isn't as good as 2K on 28 inch.
What would be your advice?

Reviews on this seem very mixed? I have a pair sitting in my spare room, waiting to be connected to my PC once it arrives. At first glance it seemed like a steal but now I'm concerned there will be issues or the quality will be poor. Anyone with stories?

24gbps? Pieces of cheap crap

Avoid this monitor if you have nvidia card, this monitor does not really say that is g sync compatible. There is a screen tearing issues with any nvidia card and this is not possible to get fixed. I am getting my monitor to be sent back for RMA as it is unplayable if you think how much this monitor cost. Not sure about AMD but this monitor has freesync so it should be fine.

I just want something decent for my PS5. Havent been getting good graphics with my 1440. I just want the bang for my buck. I dont even know how u found this monitor

after many years, I finally am going from 4k 60 fps to this monitor that's 4k 144 on friday. It was 800 dollar monitor thats only 650 now on sale at best buy Gigabyte M32U. So I am excited for price drops and 144 fps now that I got a blessed by God with a great pc, 7700x with 7900xtx gpu. SO excited and thankful.

Such a fantastic monitor, it’s perfect for the PlayStation 5.

Anyone notice screen tearing in games like rocket league and csgo? Wondering if I have a bad unit.

Hmm, funny, on my "AMD Freesync Premium PRO" setting my monitor show OFF no matter if I set it to enable or disable. Firmware F10, nvidia videocard though. Still , I recall that I saw it on at a point in time ...

It's honestly kind of hard to really find a monitor that's better than this without really going up in price. It just seems so well rounded. Like you can go up a tier to a Samsung G7 monitor for better HDR, but then you're dealing with the downsides of a VA panel with inevitable ghosting on dark colors and flickering and low FPS. Wish we had more OLED/great HDR monitor options for 32 in monitors without totally breaking the bank. It seems only ultrawides are getting great OLED/HDR options at a decent price right now.

Dose anyone have the same problem with this monitor like I did... It giving me random black screen flashing every 2mins.Via DP 4.1. when I connected with HDMI 2.1 it didn't do it. I even have the latest update on the monitor firmware F10 and the latest driver for Nvidia 3090..help...

Great review, I really like how you offer a brief explanation of what each spec means before talking about the product itself. So many of these tech channels assume 100% knowledge and just start rattling off numbers, terms and acronyms that make no sense to the casual consumer.

I have the m28u , great monitor , considering the small price difference I should have got this one. I thought 28 should be enough for gaming on my desk at such a close distance.
But now that I have it , I do feel those extra 4 inches , would be really much appreciated for immersion.

I don’t complain , but it would have been fine.
Oh well , what’s done is done , it is a great monitor anyway.
