He's not wrong in his opinion. What he is wrong about is criminalizing homosexuality. A crime is an act harmful to another person, not disobedience to the myriad arbitrary demands of other men. Homosexuality is closer to a vice, and vices aren't crimes. Government has no say in what people do on a voluntary basis, whether that government is African or American.
