Check out ilmangos video on 1.19 shulker loaders the dispenser sends it out to the side every once in a blue moon and it goes one block over from where its supposed to. Can be fixed with 3 wide portals or powdered snow.

That storage system is like minecart pachinko.

In my latest Minecraft world I found two cave spider spawners about 4 or 5 blocks apart diagonally. I've never done a cave spider xp farm before, but I think I'll try making one. I usually just make AFK string farms with them by pushing them into cactus with water.

The permits are a great idea but I immediately see an opportunity for shady E, pick a hermit who is selling something that is kinda expensive to make (beacons, netherite etc) and constantly go and buy out their whole supply until they get their permit revoked and then since you already have all the items from the shop, go ahead and buy the permit and then sell them back to the hermits at a huge markup

I really like the permit thing, but there should definitely be some underground market for some form of goodies

I have come across a problem with the hopper minecart sorting system shown in the video.

Using the setup shown, the hoppers don't have time to take more than 21 items from the hopper minecart before the minecart moves on to the row below.

One solution is to send hopper minecarts with at most 21 items around the system but, because it's so slow to send all the way around, there would be a lot of minecarts that will, for the most part, be empty. This isn't ideal as it would make the system quite laggy which is one of the main issues that is trying to be solved. Ideally, you would increase the number of items the hopper can take from the minecart without increasing the size of the system too much but I haven't been able to find a way to do this.

If anyone has found a solution to this problem, PLEASE let me know. I've spent the last few days setting up a storage system predominantly based on this design and have only just realised this fundamental problem.

The stone shop could be craft-on-demand with crafters so you only have to stock, well, stone!

etho you should make a mega piglin bartering farm for quartz so you can CRAFT andesite and granite and diorite. you will never have to mine again. only slaughter the thousands of pigmen for the gold which, in my opinion is more satisfying(i like to flex xp levels).

minecarts can go through scaffolding and onto a rail placed ontop of it. So topping a bubble column with scaffolding and rails can also work. Do you ever use this mechanic or is it easier in practice to push the cart with water?
