What really sucks is the fact that no matter how much we fantasize, nothing will change unless someone retcons the sequels. We know that Thrawn won’t succeed at what he intends to do, instead all their efforts will be so that a scavenger can spin a laser sword 🙄

Thrawn reminds me of an executive at a large company. Cold, calculating, ruthless, well spoken. And talks with a smile.

I know almost nothing about this dude since I never watched Rebels. All I know from chatter and gossip is that he is regarded as one of the greatest Star Wars villains to date and it's the same actor who voiced him in the cartoons. He's genuinely creepy and so calm that he's unsettling.

This show is as dull as dishwater

I don't like how the 1.5km metal alloy starships somehow started becoming airships right around Force Unleashed. There should be some consistent limitations.

I love how soft spoken he is. Just very casual, doesn’t raise his voice.

Thrawn is more than just a villain. He's very nuanced in the Thrawn Trilogy. He's willing to kill but only when necessary. He doesn't suffer fools but tries to teach junior officers how to think and analyze a situation and does all he can to get to know his enemy or potential enemy before formulating a strategy. He's not omniscient and he's willing to admit when he's made a mistake and he's willing to learn from it. He's the embodiment of "soft power".

Thrawn should have been the main villain in the sequel trilogy. Don’t tell me what we got was any better.

I truly think his stormtroopers are undead from the voice distortion and not one of them has they're helmets off. And they've been working with the Nightsisters

Frankly, it has been a LONG time since I have seen such acting 'gravitas,' especially in a Star Wars show. Mads Mikkelsen put on an 'acting clinic.' Seriously, some of the finest acting I have seen in a long time.

This looks cool as heck. Which makes it worse in my opinion because anything good that comes out of Disney is still surrounded by crap. They'll never get me back as a fan until they fire Kathleen Kennedy and slash the sequels from cannon.
