Straight into it again today! This workout would be between beginner and intermediate level (between the last two). In this one, I have combined important seated with standing exercises. ОтветитьHi Mike. This is a great 1-hour video to start off the week with. For the exercise where we put our fists between our knees and squeeze, my hands hurt when I squeeze. Do you have any suggestions for strengthening hand and grip strength? I say grip strength too because I recently purchased an electric scooter. I find that when I use it my hands hurt. I have never owned or motorcycle and I have not often rode a bike, which might be, in part, why I do not have a lot of grip strength. Thanks for any suggestions. With gratitude, John from Canada.

ОтветитьI would have liked a few more arm exercises and not so much stretching. lol In your other full body workout which is about 38 minutes (called Full Workout for Seniors - Standing No Equipment), you do many more arm exercises. I take the opportunity to use weights then. I am 77 but was a gym rat for many years (before Covid)... so need a bit more strength training (imtermediate or advanced). Thank you!

I am in my late 70's and just completed your workout. Should I do this workout every other day and rest day in-between?
ОтветитьI like the longer exercise video with the standing parts. I think it will be beneficial. Often you say to move nice and slow, but then you go so quickly that it can't be done slow. Some of the arm ones felt like a bird trying to fly. I wish there was more consistency in the timing. That said, I am a big fan and use your videos often. Thanks.
Ответитьthis is great for a 75 yr old. I am so glad you make them all avail; stretching, balance,etc. I can easily swim a mile but this video helps me realize how much I need to stretch!

ОтветитьLove your seated exercises except that there are some which I couldn't do anymore due to my right hip injury which I'm seeing an Orthopedist for. But some of them make me limber a bit instead of being tied up to my chair.

ОтветитьSeated, bending and touching your toes not a good choice for seniors. They’re generally not flexible enough to do that without concerns of muscle strains in lumbar area and also many have disc injuries that can be used exacerbated with that type of seated stretch.
