I rode Portal Trail fall 2022 and it was super fun. I am an intermediate rider and rode most of it. The trail is is only 2.2 miles long so you could walk the whole thing in an hour. The main challenge is getting to it via the first six trails of the Mag 7. It's a full day. Bring plenty of food and water and have someone pick you up at the end. It is a long ride into Moab.

I'm scared of heights, won't even try to walk along the cliff, riding a bike there need nerves of steel haha.

Can someone recommend to me a mountain bike that I can get. A "DO NOT BREAK THE BANK" kinda bike. Less than a thousand bucks if possible.... thanks in advance
