ОтветитьI've been in Ahmedabad for 4 months... And I've also stayed in multiple states and cities for my Business purposes. . I've noticed that their is no need of this track to Ahmedabad... The Bullet train should be in Mumbai but instead of Ahmedabad it should be to Bangalore or Nagpur or Goa or Delhi or Hyderabad.... On those routes their is multiple Major metro cities which can be mostly beneficial for the Bullet train business.. such as IT hubs in Pune, Nashik, Kolhapur, Belgaum, Etc.
As example the Saurashtr Janta express run through the Ahmedabad but mostly in Third tier and first class AC boggies are Empty...
I support the project but not the route at all...
I think one route would be Dehradun to Kolkata via Haridwar should be constructed so tourists could easily reach holy city of Haridwar in less time❤❤

ОтветитьFor India as our cities are spread out a mesh system is needed to be built more like the German ICE system.
Mumbai to Delhi via Gujrat and maybe a few stops in Rajasthan.
Delhi to Kolkata via one Stop at Bihar (patna) and few in UP
Mumbai to Chennai via Pune, Hyderabad.
This will basically cover most of the big cities with good passengers who can pay 4 to 7k for a HSR ticket. If this goes well we can increase the tracks more.
Maybe a tier based system HSR for big intercity travel. Then VB for interstate semi-HSR, then local and regional trains. I personally don't like how many stops the current Mumbai HSR track has as it reduces the cruising time.

ОтветитьThis train is true competition for airlines. Not Indian railways general national carrier trains, not even Vande Bharat trains/semi highspeed trains.
Don't know who made comparison, everyone took it up. Indian railways is a headup competition with roads and expressway for both passengers and freight.
Sea green-white colour shinkansens look better than red white. Silver - white is ok. Why are they bringing red white?

ОтветитьIndia should standardise the bullet trains for indian conditions. Readymade system import may be advantageous in short term but if we are thinking of the long term then we should look beyond japan. Should look at prospect of bullet train for broad Gauge instead of standard gauge and look to indigenise the signalling or atleast buy rights to tweek the signalling as we need which japan is not going to let us do. Take this route as an experiance and confirming the viability of the bullet train for the india. But for the future we need to move further and take proper steps now.

ОтветитьAs a country we don't understand bullet train yet, its not about speed, its about frequency. The Ahmedabad Mumbai Bullet train will run 120-150 services means you can travel on this route like you are traveling in metro. And you will not need to reserve seats in advance as its in abundance. So stop suggesting stupid routes and introduce these trains on routes where we need volumes
