ОтветитьI duel booted for a while.. And Linux gave me so many headaches for every little thing! ... And Windows just always worked.... So I don't waste my time duel booting anymore.. Windows is superior for anybody who isn't a command line junky.
ОтветитьDo these instructions need any updates due to the BlackLotus campaign, and all the changes Microsoft has made to fix secure boot?
ОтветитьDo I need to create "swap area"? I allready got 200GB partition on D: [when looking from my Win7 persp3ctive]. Am I going to mess something up if I choose 200GB as "root" and not create swap partition?

ОтветитьCan't you skip creating a swap partition if you have over 8g of memory? I believe it just creates swap 'files' now in the latest Mint releases.

Ответитьi can only partition 14gb free space, even tho i have like 100gb free... please can u help.?
ОтветитьGreat job. However, for the complete morons that are trying to do this..the key issues are SLOWING DOWN the critical steps after downloading balenaetcher. You lost me there completely. I wish I knew someone that could do it for me from that point. It's taken me 5 months trying to find out a video that is dumbed down enough and slow to follow it without totally f....up my computer and everything else. Thanks...just a suggestion. Otherwise it's a good video.

Just a question. Don't you need to unassign System partition letter when Ubuntu folder is removed❓
if i want to turn back?have only windows and unistall linux mint?like it was before without linux....
Ответитьthe question is, how to remove windows from dualboot, reinstall for example? without deleting linux
Ответитьthank you very much!
ОтветитьThis has been the best video for me to properly try out Linux Mint on my laptop. Because this is such a small lappy, there's not a lot of space, so I couldn't afford so much space. Ultimately this meant I had trouble with the volume filling up as I used Mint, and eventually had to remove the whole installation (with a plan to build a box that uses two separate, full-sized drives to dual boot, then migrate files and format the laptop to entirely Mint, no partitions). This video made the entire process of trying, installing, running, and finally removing Linux Mint a much more simple process than I had hoped. Thanks, Ksk!
Ответитьi can't locate RST in bios
ОтветитьIf I install Linux being on AHCI which I did and it worked, I can go back then to RAID?
Ответитьsorry, no need to create a /home on dual boot ?, thank you in advance btw
