So glad you like it! I agree with you about the foibles of a young man's POV. Stuart really shows us just how wrong his main character can be sometimes and it was a refreshing change of pace from other fantasy books. The way the character grows internally and on the reader is just fantastic. Great review Chris!

What a brilliant review! This books sounds soooo good, though I honestly wasn't expecting anything less from P.L.! I am a bit nervous about the dense writing style because Janny Wurts' prose is a real challenge for me, but we'll see how things go. I am very intrigued by the premise and I am always down for a good character-driven epic fantasy!

I am very good at protecting my book spines and this book looks both slinky and easy to read! Slinkier than I had anticipated forsome reason too.
