Widening tax net only applies to traders in capital market?

Do we need lot of brains to increase Gst by half a percent to make everyone pay the tax. Why only 2-3% of the total population is pushed to the wall to collect more tax!!!!

Real estate indexation removal is applicable from which date: 1-April, 23-July or 1-Oct?
What about people who have already sold real estate with indexation between Apr-Jun 2024, it's not right to ask them to pay 12.5% LTCG now?

One side they say 20% of investment coming in equity market...now they are giving excuse 60% people from them frofit making are 1cr plus income and 88% were plus 15 lakh....obviously equity is the matket that involved some complex study....atleast some sort of capable qualified ppl feel comfortable doing equity investment....is 15 lakh or 1 cr income group ppl are not those who already being taxed earlier in incometax or you in the media statment keep saying that ppl are loosing mony in equity market....

This is not India's budget ......This budget is only Bihar and Andhra Pradesh centric budget, other states gain nothing. This is the worst Finance minister India had ever had.

Education --> Employment. Education precedes employment, spend all the goddamn money on education. Train or fire incompetent teachers, set up proper schools, monitor attendance, and if necessary compensate parents. The only viable path forward for India is to educate its youngsters.

LTCG tax on real estate would double by denying indexation. There should be an option on indexation in ITR. In the interest of the common man, if the govt cares, there should be indexation in taxing all investments starting from Fixed Deposits. Don't fool the public saying taxation is being simplified.

If indexation is taken off in house property, the gain may not be actual gain in view of inflation.
Therefore charging capital gain on something that is not a gain will be legally flawed. It can be set aside in a court of law

Excellent budget - for fiscal stability of the country , through low deficit, for employment generation, for upliftment of the poor who are true drivers of growth, for farmers who feed the nation and for infrastructure , for development.

Indian needs to pack this sick lady and her boss back to Tamil Nadu and Gujrat. This time TN and Bihar bailed them out but that does not mean this unpopular budget will not make GODI PARTY go back home retired in forth coming provincial election followed by Centre getting pack back home in next general election
