Pack with Me for A Hot Summer Holiday! What to take, Why and How to Prevent Over Packing.

It's very interesting to hear your thought process behind each choice, thank you. I'm definately an overpacker. I don't plan outfits specifically enough. This will help me on my upcoming Thanksgiving trip to Cleveland, OH.

Great video. I like the way of selecting the items, lovely clothes. I’m going to Cyprus in a month and don’t really have any nice summer / evening clothes. Im going shopping this Monday. My problem is I’m petite only just under 5 foot and also my shoe size is 2! So I really struggle to buy nice clothes 😢 there aren’t many brands that do petite, all dresses are always too long for me, and I can forget nice pair of shoes 🙁
Also when I browse the stores I can never find anything that I’d like or that would look good on me, where do you find all this classy and lovely pieces? Any tips for me? Any other small framed women here that has the same struggles? Where do you guys shop?

Such a logical and helpful editing process. I'm usually good at packing, but currently have to pack for a month as a director at a summer debate camp in New Hampshire with a week in Montreal tacked onto the end, so my usual strategy was just a bit overwhelmed with such varied activities for a full 6 weeks away from home that included for both work and play with travel via plane, car, bus, and train with accomodations at college dormitories and nicer hotels! Your logical method really helps me tweak my usual capsule travel stuff to be minimal and flexible.

OMG you bring A LOT of clothes! My rule is to bring a capsule set that fits into one carry on for a week. How many suitcases do you need? All beautiful choices but what if you could only bring one?

Wow you pack so much! I love all of it but I’d prob take half out again so there’s room to shop haha😂

I have a few tips on sandals that don't contain your feet (your feet slip out of). Use silicon clear heel grips on the base of your sandals where your foot meets your toes. That will stop your feet slipping through the band of your sandals. I also use fine bandages (tubes) in skin colour to put around my thong bit of flip flops - could never wear those things until I discovered I could put that round the thong to protect my feet from rubbing. You also get clear silicon guards for thongs, but I prefer the finger bandage tube as it is far softer.

You REALLY suit green. You are stunning with anything but green is certainly your best colour !!!! Thank you for doing this - I am finally going on a cruise this summer after SIX LONG YEARS (mostly due to covid) but hanging on after covid due to so many restrictions that I could not be bothered with, Plus the prices going up so much I would have needed 6 years to save for the one week cruise!!😳🙄 Could you do a demo on the self tanner? do you use a glove? do you need to blend and blend and blend? how do you do hands and feet? thank you ❤

I feel like this is so helpful even in knowing what to add or not to my small wardrobe that also needs to be super practical! I have very limited closet space and space is at a premium.

I pack jeans every time (and shorts) and never use them. I cruise mostly. I also ditch the shareware because I am on holiday and suddenly loose my will to care. I more likely to go commando than drag on some spanx.

How do you deal with metallics and shoes ( gold, silver, bronze )

I’m used to traveling with a carryon, and following Travel Fashion Girl guidelines for packing with 5, 10, or 15 items. This is an entire summer wardrobe, but to travel with all this ? Don’t think m strong enough.
