alright, October 2022, Halloween dance, girl I knew year previously who had been talking to me a lot recently asked me to it, In shock I said yes, i went and had a beautiful time, horay, kept talking together and walking with each other, laughing at her jokes listen to music together that typa stuff, felt on top of the world, went on one week trip to Nashville, listened to this album religiously out of pure excitement and fear, on the road to nashvile night one I can remember, was still texting and calling her and told her how much she meant to me and how I felt like she was one of the only people who actually cared about me, she said it was sweet and cute and she loved me, it was 1 am and i was outside just like bonkers rolling around in the grass feeling the beautiful breeze absolutely in love, next day was still texting with her but was nervous if i hadn't made it apparent enough that I LIKE LIKED her but at that point i most likely thought she did, she sent a text after i kept spamming saying " hold on my boyfriend keeps spamming me" i started to cry and i read the text right when the chorus hit when the chorus was about to end i checked my phone again and said "oh yeah who is he :)" and than said oh you don't know him? sent me his name, social media how they met, and than my tears and feelings turned to cold pain, got out the car felt like throwing up and was just, stuck, I have tried to at least rekindle a friendship with her and she has been nothing but bitter and cold, I'm forced to see her almost every day and though she's still pretty, I've lost all attraction, there's more to the story but i don't want to make it seem all blame game this is your fault male manipulator stuff so, yeah. I still tear up when i hear this song and think about Tennessee, and less about her and all the pain I went through, the night I got to Tennessee I bought this album on vinyl, best song ever. I think also a portion of the pain is how basically the same thing happened to me again like a few months later, but yeah that's it. please let me know if you have any questions about my story. love you mac.
