Basic SMOOTH Texture Recipe for Canvas Art | Spackle, Filler, Plaster | 3 Materials Only!

Great tutorial; excellent results. I suggest that when storing a small amount in a large container that has lot of air above it, that you set the cling film directly on the top of the mixture where it will act like a skin and mitigate the mixture from absorbing the column of air above it in rhe container. You can continue to add the piece on the lid as a secondary barrier agsint external air. I discovered this using various DIY product mixes including fillers and homemade chalk paint. Whilst it is not truly airtight, it significantly increases the storage lifespan.

So if I'm understanding, Plaster of Paris 2 parts to 1 part Elmer Glue. You can add any acrylic paint for color . Correct?
