This movie came out when i was 5, i am 20 as of a little over a month ago. I'm English, and have a 3 year old stepbrother, a 5 year old stepsister, and another 10 year old stepsister, tomorrow night im showing them this movie. Ill update this comment to say how it goes

I watched this as part of an assignment for a college class. I am a future educator and although my plans consist of working in a public school system, I would love to integrate aspects of Summerhill into my teaching methods. While my personal beliefs uphold that children do need some sort of structure system in their lives, I love the idea of students making (or helping to make) rules and I would love to allow my students to create their own projects that spark a love for learning. Children want to be heard and believe it or not, adults can learn a lot from what children have to say.

I love this movie! Way ahead of it’s time! I know this could work! What a concept, children have their own minds, who would have known?

Bloody hell why are these children so lazy and unrealistic, how else will you make it in life without an education, unless your born into wealth or have good connections.

It's a tragedy this isn't all children's school experience.
