Unfortunately, there are always people out there who won’t trust the science.
I finally caught covid this past December. Because I was vaxxed & boosted, it only lasted 7 days. I do have terrible tinnitus, and sleep a lot (once for 35 hours) but that’s slowly going away. I’m 70, & expected to get really sick, because I was overdue for the new booster.

Not a word about gain of function via China lab???

COVID still exists, yet those people who survived it are boasting and criticizes those who received the vaccines. But, do these boasting naysayers realize they are still susceptible to COVID like everyone else, vacced or not? They are still learning about this COVID virus....

Think you all have it all wrong. I'm unvaxxed at a small country with the highest vaccinated population. Our Govt said everyone should be Covid infected before, but I have none so far. Stay unvaxxed, safer the vaxxed.

I got sick for two weeks with covid19 variant after home testing tested. positive. Since stocked up with lots of canned and frozen foods, I self quarantined, didn’t go anywhere. Drink plenty, tons of chicken soups, experimented baking pastries and breads mean while checking my oxygen absorption level. Thank god I recovered well. Depending on immune systems, people should eat well and stay away from going out spreading to others even to family members or crowding hospitals. Take care of yourself. Happy new year

My mum stills wears her mask despite the fact all the COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, I feel weird when I'm the only person in the room wearing a mask.

WOW, this had practically ZERO about china the cause of the issue and probably the cause of the next wave and virtually no useful information other than the very brief science bit.... i was truly expecting more...

This video could have been informative if it had stated why the virus spread from China to the rest of the world. It all because China covered up in late 2019 and early 2020 when the virus first surfaced in Wuhan, similar to their covering up the first SARS in 2003 that only spread to their east Asian countries. They covered up what's going on in Wuhan, allowed its citizens traveling and unknowingly spreading the virus abroad--many of them went to Italy and that's why Italy was the first to suffer outside of China, at the same time they restricted its own citizens traveling domestically. WHO was incompetent due to its director general's close personal tie to China's communist party, therefore, parroting China's claim that nothing was wrong. With the world not aware of, let alone prepared for, the infections that might have been contained within China became a pandemic. Getting away for not be held responsible for the pandemic, China continues to cover up today by lying and refusing to tell WHO what's going on in China now--an estimate of half of it's population will be infected soon--after they abandoned the failed zero-covid policy and turned about-face by allowing its citizens to roaming around the world starting January 8, the rest of the world should have serious concerns that new variants might keep popping up. Therefore, calling the pandemic over may be premature.

As someone who worked on Animal Outbreaks for many years, we did not take enough prevention measures at the start to protect ourselves, tough measures are needed to slow the spread you cannot stop it spreading but you can slow it, which means more time to put further necessary measures into place, i would have closed all flights to prevent spread at the start.

Where did the virus originate? Outer space? Seems like recently DW has been bought out by China
