yah they should build 100 cruser again . and lower the prize , just stick what they are good at. this is wrong diection . extra expensive luxory ?!?! just simple offroader , its odd they go this way with the landcruser when the lexus should be going this route that this car is going . why they have landruser and lexus both luxory , landcruser is known for simple and strong and good reability . this is way to expensive what you get . better to buy old 100 cruser and restore it :)

Good, honest review. A rarity in the motor industry - you never see just & valid criticisms of Toyotas which should be subject to closer scrutiny because of their "reliability & technology" claims.

You are right about the body roll it was the first thing I noticed when I test drove it. I’m comparing it to my current Jeep GC and it is much more stable and responsive.

the German lemon of the same price range with break down or have expensive repairs before the vehicle will hit 100 000 km. While these Toyota Land Cruiser will last you over 500 000km. The quality of luxury German cars are no where near that of Japanese luxury vehicles.

Each to their own but looks like our 200 series will be the last vehicle we buy.

It was a toss up between patrol or lc300 for us, the patrols interior is such a let down though we went with sahara zx. It's a great car, but whether it's worth the 160k before on road costs, definitely debatable... Waaay better than the lc200 though

🤣 No. The interior is NOT "quality." It's actually very cheap. However, the soft suspension and light steering are AMAZING.

I fucking HATE what Toyota has progressively done to the Landcruiser. I also fucking HATE what became of the Patrol. They WERE both such basic, reliable, true off-road vehicles.

Why is this thing so expensive in Australia? Import taxes since it's not a domestic vehicle? You can get a mid range Lexus LX600 for that price of the Landcruiser in that video.

When you're going into the G-Class price range, you know you're in some trouble. If you spend another 20k you get a very decent G-Class. More stylish, more practical, more offroad, holds value also really well.

Other manufacturers haven't been sleeping and you get very good reliability from some engines nowadays. For most German engines, install a better oil pump, because the oil pressure is way too low. If you do that they should run flawlessly

The rear door is what is stopping me from buying a new 300 .

Finally, a hater who obviously can't afford one and just wants to knock it, looking forward to picking mine up soon, other than reliability, they are the best at keeping the value for resale, your German cars your on about lose way more in value than Toyata and Lexus vehicles.
So if you want a vehicle which can also be an asset you buy a toyota, if you want to show off and end up throwing away your money then buy a germen made vehicle and make sure you get rid of it before the warranty runs out because you'll be definitely devastated. And yes this car is made for towing caravans and traveling in country roads, otherwise I suggest you buy a kluger, not a stupid audi and bmw which are money wasters that end up losing value faster than any other vehicle on the road.

Good car - just $50k overpriced!

As you said this car is not for everyone and not for every occasions, it a car for people who have multiple cars it for long trips, for towing, i have 6 cars each has it owns purpose you cant have once for all, but LC is good for what's it been build i have 100 series and love the split tail gate for sure, done 500K sill runs very well

I love Land Cruisers, but this one isn’t as nice as the older ones. It’s smaller and could look a lot better. It looks much worse in my opinion.

Mega body roll, 10 speed auto. Looks terrible. It's the ultimate Boomer mobile....

BOF is not stiffer then unibody. Both can be stiff if designed and manufactured with that requirement.

In terms of weight, unibody will be lighter. Just like a tall I-beam will be significantly lighter than the short one, to achieve the same stiffness.

Please take a simple class in mechanics and stop repeating this.

BOF have many advantages for trucks / off road, but mechanical stiffness is not one of them.
