I am not looking into the rights or the wrongs or the morals about the film , I just enjoyed it immensley . Not everything is perfect in a young childs life and this film portrayed an enormous life lesson about her family, and the issues within and also about life and death of close loved family members and not to follow what is perceived to be the right way and be put down just because you havnt the figure but to rise above every hurdle and emerge a confident person able to tackle anything in life . For that this film is perfect .

And the audience was upset for a fucking striptease???

Olive is seriously the cutest being her normal self. Even the way she seemed nervous and awkward was super cute! And her dad's support. This scene between father and daughter is really heart warming. Also love that look on his face when he sees how messed up it is.

The fact these little girls are in bathing suits is creepy

Okay. I understand that little girls want to become like Miss Universe. They want to be talented, beautiful etc. But when it comes to these kid pageants, why does no one make any restrictions? Kids shouldn't be wearing heavy makeup in the first place. And swimwear should never ever be in kid pageants! EVER!
