Tears of the kingdom.......I want everyone to know that I grew up with this whole franchise. There wasn't too many Zelda games that made cry like a baby......but damn, this one did. They really outdid themselves with this game.

Soooo I'm assuming that it makes you go back to be4 you got zelda after you beat the game

I loved this ending so much. I was not disappointed at alll!!! Although I was sad that when you continue it just gives you a star on the side like it did in botw 😢

I actually was wearing the archaic tunic and skirt, so I thought it put you in just the skirt for this scene, just like the opening cinematic. But no, you can still wear the goofiest pants you want.

the fact that people STILL are trying to justify anything else winning GOTY is laughable. i always direct them to that final boss fight and this scene.

God, what a perfect game. Ive played every major zelda game from the first, and this one is the best. Nintendo keeps getting better with age.

Why Nintendo, why couldn't you even make them hug?? I'm not even asking any kiss out of you, just Zelda rushing to hug Link at the end of the cutscene. Do you know how happy that would already make me??

I love how that last "Hold" command is emphasized with bold, red text. It's like a mix of the game cheering you on and begging for you to not screw this up. Like, this is it.

...So naturally the person who made the video slips that part up. XD

The best part is that Zelda is looking to the camera. Why? Let me explain.

The reason Link is named, well, Link, is because he serves as the "link" of the game to the player. So every time someone says "Link", they are actually talking about the player. And hence, why when Zelda talks to Link, she is looking directly at the player. It's an amazing game design.

I'm not sure I can play another game after this.

Everything about this final part including the 50 stage boss is so great it doesn’t even feel anything like botw

What's super brilliant about this, is that this sequence easily could've just been a full cutscene where you watch Link dive after her and save her. But instead, they made it a full gameplay sequence where YOU dive after her, and YOU save her. That tiny bit of extra player interaction intensifies this scene a thousand fold.

See Zelda wasn't rewinded back from her dragon from to human form, she remembers her time as a dragon, even though she compares it to sleeping. That thing pulled of by Rauru and Sonia happened because the goddesses employed their spirit to perform a miracle.

If I were him I would want to keep the arm. I mean you could do really cool stuff with it

In case anyone is curious, they’re having this conversation on Mabe Prairie, and the lake they dive into is unnamed. They’re sitting on the hill to the left of the lake.

So Link was asleep for 100 past and Zelda was asleep for 100 years into the future?

Just finished the game. I thought it would be a sad ending: Demon King was defeated but Zelda can’t change back to her Hylian form so she went away to somewhere far away. Link’s replacement arm vanished after he completed his mission. Although he returned as a hero, he lived the rest of his life in solitude as a one arm swordsman.

This game really turned out to be the Majora's Mask to BOTW's OoT.

I loved so much about this ending. Although, why did Link get his arm back? I loved how different it was for the entire game.
