4/4! Haven’t heard of any of these and they are all interesting. Do you do a lot of research before buying or do you just trust your gut instinct when ordering?

It's OffMyShelves: X-rated Edition 😂

Great overview, and I love the variety here :')

I'd seen Search & Destroy around and liked the cover but didn't pay enough attention to realise it was based on Dororo! So thanks, that's bumped up to a higher list 😂

Really liking all the sewn binding paperbacks again - top Fantagraphics quality as usual (I believe Dark Horse follow suit, but worryingly the last Image compendium I looked at was just glued.)

I had noticed I have quite a few landscape comics (still need to pick up Private Eye).
An interesting format but still can't decide whether it adds enough to justify the irregular shape and awkwardness of fitting it on a shelf alongside others 😅

P.S. Another cool t-shirt!

I was looking for some shorter stories, Search and Destroy seems right up my alley!

Delights was the first Guy Colwell comic in many years, but he was a fairly well known name in underground comix back in the day. His five-issue series, "Inner City Romance", published by Last Gasp was really leaps ahead of most with respect to its criticism of the prison industrial complex and the war on drugs. Social issues are the core of most of Colwell's comics, and it was interesting to see him find an angle to include some of it into a fictional story about Hieronymus Bosch.
