Currently (January 2020) there are no Ashford to Cambridge services
ОтветитьI wonder if there is a train from Cambridge to Littlehampton
ОтветитьWhat was the point of closing the King's Cross York Road and suburban station tunnels just to open the canal tunnels?
ОтветитьHay dave
ОтветитьI quite like Matt’s voice at Victoria, it’s way more realistic and human than Only Woman
ОтветитьPish!!
ОтветитьYou can't shake Dave!
ОтветитьI'm in Australia and I watch them. I've only been to London 4 times, entertaing and interesting
ОтветитьVery picture new train
ОтветитьHey Dave
ОтветитьHey Geoff
Ответить🤣🤣🤣
Ответитьmatt possibly might be the most annoying person i ever heard
ОтветитьCan you do a video on my local station, St. Neots
Ответитьi remember when these lines started running with the new timetable the services were so bad as they needed to train all the drivers 90% of trains got cancelled and so on and so forth, thank god they are all sorted out and i can get a train to horsham and then go to portsmouth! long live govia!
ОтветитьHey Dave!
ОтветитьHey Dave
ОтветитьDid I miss the tunnel money shot?
ОтветитьHey Dave! Cutie!
ОтветитьSo, much of Thameslink's commitments at the time of the video turned out to be, erm, bollocks.
A successfully working timetable in 2019?
A half hour service between Cambridge and Ashford?
Was Geoff taken in here?
But a sad indication of pisspoor service.
Brilliant. I lived in Cambridge in 2012 & still go back to visit friends - we never had the Thameslink service then. I took a train from Farringdon to C'bridge & was gobsmacked - think it passed thru St Pancras. Also some of these trains go to Gatwick! Brilliant.
ОтветитьEverybody gangsta till you sit on that ironing board seat for over 2 hours
Ответитьon the map .wimbledon is missing a D ie wimbleon
ОтветитьHey Dave! Hey Geoff! :)
Ответитьhi geoff dein movie gefellt me über GB mache weiter so i love GB
ОтветитьThe canel tunnell connects the thameslink core
ОтветитьIVE BEEN TO CAMBRIDGE
ОтветитьAs a Sevenoaks local I have never seen a Welwyn Garden City service I’ve only seen Blackfriars services on thameslink
ОтветитьMassive fan of your videos Geoff, all so brilliantly presented and filmed to such a professional standard. You are amazing and loved your friend on this video, the blending of the maps, very inspired.
Never seen this video before, it came on after a BBC News report about how uncomfortable the seating is on the Thameslink trains. Watched to see if you mentioned this.
Due to East Croydon to London Victoria being closed last Thursday, part of a 10 day closure, I made a return journey to St Pancras to get to London from there. I was left in AGONY in the days following that day, including an emergency Osteopath appointment last Saturday. Still in a lot of pain.
LOVE every video I see of yours. Each one is a mini masterpiece, full of incredible knowledge but interspersed with lovely humour and informal little touches.
And you STILL haven't been to the Isle of Wight... 🙄
Thanks mate. Martin
I've always been quite excited by the idea of a second, north-south Crossrail, but having watched this I'm not sure if it's really needed? Isn't Thameslink just a north-south Crossrail with a different name? If anyone knows better than me please correct me
ОтветитьI’m no way a Trainspotter but I love these vlogs. So interesting
I live in Horsham, so we’ve got the new Thameslink to Peterborough and Cambridge
This means I no longer have to go to Victoria to get to St Pancras and Kings X. It saves so much time Amazing.
Matt voice om thameslink class 700 please mind gap between train and the plntform
ОтветитьHi... I am student from India... will be moving to Brighton in Sept 2022. Can someone please help me the way I can travel from London Heathrow Airport to Brighton train station?
ОтветитьHey Dave
Ответить2019 suposed to have a full Thameslink service. It 2022, not yet! Geoff one for you to look into. Why hasn't the full service come in? And why does Thameslink suffer constantly with Train Crew Shortages when no other TOC does? (except Adlanta West Coast). How about looking at the side of the job that is always overlooked? The railway is not just operated by Drivers and Controllers, what about Signallers? They are the one's responsible for far more trains than one driver.
ОтветитьThames link is a train between. Brighton and soho ,London
ОтветитьHEY DAVE!!!
Ответитьall they need to do now is sort out the east Croydon bottleneck and think will be near perfect maybe
Ответить387s go rarely nowadays through the Canal Tunnels
ОтветитьI’ve travelled between Farringdon and Cambridge, very good.
ОтветитьFunny watching this video in 2023 knowing about the timetable change fiasco this caused 😂
ОтветитьHey Dave
ОтветитьWhen did "cup cake" enter British English? Those things existed long before that word arrived in the UK. We had to make them in home economics in 1982. Strange how this grey squirrel of a term supplanted the red squirrel term that served the British well for at least a century previous. They're not even made in cups.
ОтветитьYou are were I live
ОтветитьYou would think that on a services like this the the seats on the trains would be suited for a regional distances, but no there small, hard and hsve negative leg room and as a guy of 6' feet it a nightmare. Think dft >:)
ОтветитьThat “official” map is wrong
Ответитьit's pretty funny (and sad) that I can get a train from cambridge to london with about the same speed and frequency as I can get a bus from my village to cambridge
Ответить
