ОтветитьAccording to Snell, Deep transverse perineal muscle is absent in Women.
You must be referring to Superficial transverse perineal muscle, which is common in both genders.

ОтветитьHELP...!!!! 😥Is there a name for the or perhaps a Disease where all your perineum Muscles are Contracting/spasming painfully, Mimicking labour like pains. To describe it bearing Down feeling, my coccxy feels like there's a big rock bearing down on it. I feel like someone's Electricuting my Asshole, my perineum and my Vagina. In Short I'm in AGONIZING HELLISH PAIN. And No one Can Diagnose my Pain. Nothing seems to Relieve the PAiN. Only thing that HELPS is FENTANYL for 15mins. I'M DYING. My Life has been in and out of the HOSPITAL.
ОтветитьI think what you delineated as the deep transverse perineal muscle is actually the superficial transverse perineal muscle. The DTP muscle is the entire triangular shaped muscle (Gray’s anatomy).
ОтветитьThank you so much for such a brilliant explanation..
ОтветитьThat was amazing👏thanks😍
Ответитьsooo good

ОтветитьAbsolutely brilliant. Very clear video on a topic that was always difficult to grasp at medical school! Thank you!!
ОтветитьYou are amazing
ОтветитьFantastic video. I come from a perinatal fitness background, not medical. I need to ask, is calling the female orifice a 'defect' medical language? I am unsure why the female orifice is called a defect and the male orifice is just an orifice. Is it just antiquated language that deserves review or am I missing something?
ОтветитьThe first time i actually understood the deep perineal pouch.. Thank you!
