I have an Aorus GTX 1080 ti, it looks like the board is cracked slightly by the first indented slot on the pcie connector. I think the gpu ,chip is fine though. You have this card if you wish, I can post it to you free of charge.

it's funny how you say in this video youre spending your own money on broken gpus and now i cant even submit a gpu repair request on your site because you're being inundated with broken gpus that people pay you to fix lol

missing the 1.8, and in turn all of the memory VRMS is the most common problem ive been seeing on cards that i cant figure out how to fix. Can't wait to get through this video and learn something.

Very interensting, great video ... I would appreciate an advice - my friend has an issue with his GTX 980 Strix as it boots to desktop but it crashes (to a pure blue or black screen) a minute or two after entering a game (for example Lost Ark). We ordered a new PSU as we though it would solve the issue, because for a while he was able to use GPUTweak to lower GPU Power Target to 65%, underclock GPU and memory to lowest possible and he would be able to play games for hours. The new PSU (Corsair RM650 CP) did not solve the issue so we changed the thermal pad on the GPU VRM and repasted (GPU) and it did not solve the issue, but now it got worse - even with 65% power target and underclock it would crash a minute after entering a more demanding game. There is no visible damage on the card an it works with windows desktop ... I would also note an oil leak was present on the VRM the first time we opened it and we have cleaned it, so we are now wondering if the card can be repaired by a professional electronic or should we give it up?

Hi, What kind of diagnostic would you recommend someone do if we want to make a repair request on your website? My Gigabyte Aorus 1080ti died recently and I am wary of going passed the 3.3v converter check because my board looks a different.

Excellent video mate, but for gods sake slow down and think before you speak then you don't have to say it three times.

Awesome video. I repaired gas stations for twenty years and usually if you are getting the volt meter out shit is getting real. Loving your video. Keep the great work. Thank you

Hello,

thank you for your video. I'm trying to fix one 1080ti. When measuring, I found that the vcore is 1.3V instead of 800mv.
Card not detected. The fans are spinning. Don't know what the problem might be?

Thank you
