the Magician and Medical Center had Thee Best Intro Tunes. we usually watched 'Emergency' with Randolph Mantooth. is it any wonder I'm gay? Dennis Cole, George Maharis, Christopher George...
ОтветитьTurn into the Hulk Bixby do it now
Ответитьglad I was a late 70s kid, because there wasnt $hit on tv in the 70s
ОтветитьBob Carol Ted and Alice never worked on TV, because without the envelope pushing sex scenes and rated R type stuff back in the day, you couldn't translate anything to a G-rated television audience. And Paper Moon was probably the ultimate example of a movie not translating to television. Ever since the movie MASH, which was turned into one of the greatest TV series of all times, people tried to make movies into television shows and Paper Moon was the worst. It was a story that had a beginning and an end and trying to make episodes out of it was probably like trying to jump the shark every episode
ОтветитьCleavon little . Excuse me while I whip this out.
ОтветитьYvette mimeau was SMOKING 🚬 in her prime.
ОтветитьThe magician was good thought it should have lasted longer.
ОтветитьReminds me why I did not watch alot of TV in my youth.
ОтветитьI liked Nichols, and I thought it lasted 2 seasons and not 1 season. As for Bearcats it was opposite The Flip Wilson show and it did not have a chance. Supertrain was a flop for NBC from what I read about it back in the day. The New Temperatures Rising did last 2 seasons because I read ABC wanted to give the show another chance. For some reason Nancy Fox of The New Temperatures Rising reminds me of Vera, on the long standing t.v. show Alice of CBS.
ОтветитьI like how they were so sure of this temperatures rising show that they reused it and just named it the new temperatures rising a few years later as your mediocere shows video shows.
ОтветитьI wonder if Terry Gilliam, who did the Monty Python animation, did the animation for the Marty Feldman Comedy Machine? Great animation and of course it is of that Terry Gilliam style.
ОтветитьMy heart cried over "The Magician"
I loved Bill Bixby, he is still missed
The Magician should have lasted a lot longer.
ОтветитьOk not gonna lie, the Immortal one had kind of an interesting premise
ОтветитьI was so used to watching Bill Bixby in "The Incredible Hulk". Every other show Bixby was on, I would expect him to Hulk-out. Lol
ОтветитьSaw only 2 of these in UK Bearcats and the magician
Ответитьpoor bill bixby felt like a fool in the magician :(
ОтветитьEnjoyed this. A couple of these were one shot series that had no plans for a continuance. I remember The Magician as being not too bad.
ОтветитьCIA hard at work... careful folks.
ОтветитьShirley MaCLaine as a globe trotting photojournalist. Imagine the possibilities!
ОтветитьThe Shirley MacLaine show was a failed pilot in 1968 and Paper Moon from 1974 or 1975 since the movie of the same name came out in 1973
ОтветитьI remember the magician and a few others. Nichols is still on TV here Sunday mornings
ОтветитьIf The Immortal cannot age, why is he a guy on his 40's and not a child?
ОтветитьWhat a great job just coming up with intros....why do I love em so...?...ah well...just wnjoy
ОтветитьIt’s funny how in the 70s, Jodie Foster was considered the low-rent Tatum O’Neil.
ОтветитьWho here thinks that these tv shows look better than what they have on tv today?
ОтветитьMarty Feldman's Show - I remember
Make Room for Grand Daddy - I do not remember
Bob &Caro&Ted &Alice - I do not remember
Temperatures Rising - I do not Remember
Paper Moon - I remember
From a Birds Eye View - I remember
Shirley's World - I do not remember
The Most Deadly Game - I do not remember

The Immortal - I Remember ( it was pretty good )
The New Perry Mason - I do not remember
Firehouse - I do not remember
Bearcats - I do not remember
Are there no one season 60's shows?
70's seems to always get dumped on.
Of all of these, I remembered about a third! 😸 Always thought ' Bearcats' had great potential! Too bad.
ОтветитьThe 70's were as long ago as the 20's were from the 70's.
ОтветитьI see what you did there - following Bill Bixby's "Tha Magician" with a man-on-run series ("The Immortal") like Bixby's "Incredible Hulk".
ОтветитьPink Floyd must have made the intro on the first one😳
ОтветитьShirley MacClaine has always been and is still so cool.
ОтветитьIntros longer than the entire season of episodes.
ОтветитьThe only one of these I remember as a little kid was Paper Moon which I did not watch, I just remember it for some reason
ОтветитьTemperature's Rising theme sounds a bit like the odd couple theme, just a bit different!!
ОтветитьDanny thomas really just sucks....period.
ОтветитьIs old age a disease? I didn’t know that. Lol
ОтветитьWhy does the music all sound so....70,s?
ОтветитьEnjoyed The Magician, and one not on here was James Farintino's Cool Million
ОтветитьThis makes me want to smoke a pack of Winston cigarettes and eat a 32 oz Porterhouse steak on a 90 degree summer day while wearing a non-breathable polyester leisure suit.
ОтветитьDo you remember Planet of the Apes and Texas Wheelers with Mark Hamill and Gary Busey?
ОтветитьThe theme song to "The New Perry Mason" lacked the dramatic impact of the original theme.
ОтветитьI loved Paper Moon and was sad it was cancelled.
ОтветитьTemperatures rising lasted 2 seasons.
ОтветитьJames Whitmore as Brooks Hadley
ОтветитьSorry if I missed this, but I don't want to go through 333 comments (half of 666 btw) but did Terry Gilliam do the opening for the Marty Feldman show? Or just a big rip off of Terry Gilliam.
ОтветитьThe 70's are now as long ago as the 20's were in the 70's.
