So these are the 3 levels to the trailboss trim?
ОтветитьJust got the zr2. Been loving it. 4000 miles and no issues yet. Long drives have been super comfy.
ОтветитьI didn’t hear why front camera in zr2 was important…
ОтветитьZR2 for sure!!
ОтветитьJust bought the trail boss lt with every option.. I would've got the zr2 but that front end/ bumper is ugly af... and so is the seat fabric and stitching
ОтветитьJeff can you notice a difference in handling while cruising down the freeway at 80 mph? My ‘21 Trail Boss tracked extremely well. My ‘23 ZR2 seems to wander slightly. Additionally, the Trail Boss seemed to have better throttle response and acceleration which makes no sense considering they both have the same 6.2 engine and transmission. Overall I was more pleased with the Trail Boss than I am with the ZR2. Any thoughts?
Ответитьi am looking at a new truck, usually i go Ford, but the trail boss with the diesel is singing my name. Chevy half tons are the best looking trucks on the market, the diesel gets good MPGs with all the reviews praising it, the trail boss looks super cool, and i can get to deer camp without ripping off the plastic bit under the bumper...
but....i am poor...so i gotta look at the custom...but...i wish to hell there was a "northwoods utility package" for the custom line...heated seats, outlets for cordless tools and stuff in cab and bed, towing package stuff like trailer brake controller etc...but just keep small screen and 40/20/40 seat. keep it simple, but the truck would have all that stuff that really makes a truck handy and able to work. right now to get it if i am reading the chevy website correctly i have to get the LT line, but then i loose the bench seat, which i need...also the LT gets to spendy as a result of a bunch of stuff i won't really use anyway...
I wish they would refresh the custom trail boss interior and give you the 6.2l option
ОтветитьI'm tempted to get the Trailboss LT, just because my height I gotta look at half-ton Trucks. Would be a lot better if I wasn't 6'10.
ОтветитьWell one thing we know. They are all overpriced.
ОтветитьWe just got the 2023 custom trail boss love it so far didn't want or need all the upgrades. Got truck for 46,500
ОтветитьHere’s the differences
1.if you’re spending upwards of the 50k area don’t buy a Custom! Spend the extra 8k$ get an LT stop buying base models what’s another 50 a month on 600$
2. LTs are nice heated seats/wheel, different gauge clusters , bigger screen, but again it’s a trail boss and you get 30$ rancho shocks that ride like shit will buck you out of the seat immediately put bilsteins on it if you buy it.
3. The ZR2 is embarrassing for 80k$ uses the same shocks as the Colorado zr2, still ride like shit again swap for Bilsteins and they are still having issues with the two piece lifters, wait another year when new model comes out and they release the new 5.3 and 6.2, and they get rid of the basic ass Chevy interior even with the “refresh” which is nothing. Different screen inside
don't all trail bosses have a locking rear diff?
ОтветитьThe rear lower shock mounts are so idiotic. It’s like someone that has never off-roaded designed it. Just unreal.
ОтветитьYou did forget a couple things. The TrailBoss LT has a Trailboss start up screen while the ZR2 gets nothing. Also, the ZR2 has the really satisfying turn signals while the other don’t.
ОтветитьOof, ill take my pre-update 6.2 TrailBoss custom anyday over these for the prices. 50k for my Lemon doesn't sound that bad after all! 😂😅
ОтветитьI like the Custom TrailBoss
ОтветитьChevy has the cheapest leather...
ОтветитьBison
ОтветитьYour moving around so quick I'm getting sick
ОтветитьLT
ОтветитьLol somebody is overpricing!!!!!!!
ОтветитьGREAT VIDEO, !!! JUST ORDERED NEW 2023 1500 CUSTOM TRAIL BOSS NEW DIESEL LZO, YEP!!!!!
ОтветитьNot having to ReFI you home to own one….
Don’t need another mortgage payment….lol
Hey Jeff,
As always, another great video with tons of reliable info!!
Sounds like you're saying heads up display and ventilated seats are not an option in the LT trail boss, is that correct? Thanks
Don't get me wrong. I love the Trail Boss. I have a '22 Trail Boss LT. I needed it to tow my trailer with UTV. Have to be able to get down muddy trails to offload. BUT, to say these trucks are built for off-roading is silly. Not with the rear shocks hanging down like that....begging for a rock to smack them.
ОтветитьHello Jeff can you tell me if GMC stopping or have the new refresh on hold
ОтветитьMy speed limit sign is blank. Do you need a data plan for that? Did not need a data plan for my 2016 Denali
ОтветитьTraded my 19 LTZ for the ZR2 and I'm very happy with it.
ОтветитьJust picked up my new Silverado ZR2 yesterday absolutely love it was lucky to get glacier blue colour
ОтветитьBeen waiting to order my 22 High Country but with all the restrictions on 6.2 engine , Tech Package and Multi Flex Tailgate I haven’t been able to. My dealer called me today and said I won the GM lottery and they were accepting my order even with the restrictions. Have you heard of this before.
ОтветитьAt that price of the ZR2 at 82k I rather get a real bonified off road truck like a Raptor or a TRX
Ответитьso really the difference between a trailboss and a zr2 is a front locking diff and DSSV shocks on the zr2. and of course ZR2 badging which I suspect is what the majority of people buying a ZR2 are interested in. not seeing the advantage worth tens of thousands more in price.
ОтветитьReview the rcsb silverado wt
Ответитьmoney no option TRX and it kills me as a gm loyolist
ОтветитьBroke my heart why i found out you cant get the 5.3 LT with the bench seat.
ОтветитьWicked trucks
ОтветитьWe live in Canada as you do it's Zed not Zee. Small thing but important.
ОтветитьSome guys go to church on Sundays, while other guys watch General Motors Jeff🤘
ОтветитьNext do regular Z71 vs trailboss?
ОтветитьDodge and Ford got nothing on chevy with the new redesign.
ОтветитьI think the rst and high country are best looking. I went with the rst and added lift kit. Question can we add the zr2 shocks?
ОтветитьNot your fault, but it'd been nice to see the custom in something other than black so that you could see the contrasting colors. I'm going to go ahead and say it, I hate black TBs. I'm also curious to see if they give the customs an update as well. I was talking to the owner of my dealership about an updated High Country they got in, and we agreed that it's awesome. But not everyone needs all of that!
ОтветитьLM2 vs LZ0 whats the difference?! That’s what I wanna know 😅🥲 it’s really odd it’s so close to production, you can make an order, but there are zero specs out.
ОтветитьJeff when you order the 20 inch wheels you get the option of taking a less aggressive all terrain tire i think you save like $ 200 . I’ve seen this on the website while building.not a bad savings if you’re going to on road most of the time .
ОтветитьIs the rear tire view with the 360 camera blurry? I have a refreshed trailboss with the 360 surround camera and every camera view is clear and HD exept the rear tire view.
ОтветитьHow do u have a all three of those trucks at the same time, that's crazy LoL
ОтветитьWhat if a person wanted to level the front with the rear? Guessing a normal leveling kit wouldn’t work since they come from the factory with a 2” lift
ОтветитьId say the biggest difference is about 25k🤑
