so ive done research into both quests at this point (refering to quest 2 and 3) and i think the quest 2 would be a better fit for people who want vr for pcvr but are a lil too tight on cash for the index or other pcvr only headsets

Come on, Apple put out the vision pro just for content creators. Pretty sure they’ll release a non pro version within a year once they saturate the App Store.

I just got the quest 3 yesterday. I like the games, Amazon video is terrible, and most apps load INCREDIBLY slow (if ever).

Apple 8K each Len it is mean you visual desktop macos working 4-5K when the screen center of your eye it is mean you can working native iMac, Pico4, Meta Q3 about 4k per eye it is mean you can only work 500-720P when visual desktop center of eyes(That said, in many way is the most advantage if you develop app, game, etc with highest quality especially Apple VR quality HW integrated.

I’m getting the quest 3 soon. Plus meta quest is all around vr. Apple isn’t its iPhones, iPads and computers. What are they going to do with their vr? Probably add lots of cameras on it in the future.

The apple headset doesn’t have controllers so I don’t think it’s for games. It appears to be for a working on something like an architect so they can see what they’ve made in 3D instead of the program they use which I can barely understand.

I’m pretty sure the apple headset is meant for developers because ain’t no way a regular person would want to pay all that. Hopefully they will lower the price to become more mainstream
